Great Knife Set for Home

I will say if you cook occasionally or once in awhile, this product may not be fore you because there are a few knives that have a specific purpose in the kitchen. I went in knowing I would be purchasing a Zwilling Four Star set, and was pleasantly surprised by this self sharpening option. The knives are made of forged German stainless steel in Germany. The handles have a comfortable grip that feel very secure in my hand. They are super sharp and strong. This block keeps them at their optimum sharpness at all times. The slots are easily labeled for which knife goes where because Zwilling engineered them for each individual knife, not a standard cookie cutt...

Great knife set that's low maintance

I love using this knife block set because every time I take my knives out of this block, I have a knife that is as sharp as the first day I used them. I also love that there is picture of all the knives next to their slots so that everything truly has it's place.

This block has all the knives you need to do any job in the kitchen. The blades are made from German Special Formula Steel, also forged from one piece of steel so durable for a lifetime. In addition the blades are also ice hardened so will stay sharper for a longer period of time. The handles are comfortable and lightweight, a nice option compared to other heavy handle knives. Lastly you will never have to drag you knives out to be sharpened again, the block does that for you.
