Ratings & Reviews for ZLINE KITCHEN & BATH 36 inch Ducted 400-CFM Copper Island Range Hood

fits my ceiling height

I got one from a big box store and it didn't adjust (even though the web description said it would). In store they told me I would have to order some ginormously expensive unit. I found this one and with the short adjustment kit it worked beautifully. Great price for the same thing I found in local stores for much higher.

Great looking hood

I really like the sleek lines and quality of the hood overall. Room for improvement could be the quality of the screws that go into the ceiling joists, a paper template, and metal ducting instead of plastic. A plastic one would melt in a fire and cause potential fire inside attic.

Beautiful & Great Quality

I purchased this 3 weeks ago and love it! Love the features! Love the look! Great Quality!

Excellent features

I bought this for a kitchen remodel and it was exactly as featured in the photo. It has controls on both sides and looks perfect over my new island.

Hood purchase

Overall I really like the hood. The installation instructions were not very good. The need some additional info.

No operation manual

Installed for customer, easy install, took 2 hours including several up and downs to insure proper location and height . Yes this is a 2 man process, take the glass off to make is more manageable. Not keen on the plastic vent. Biggest issue NO operation instruction. I'm getting constant calls now on how to operate the unit which seems to come on the first time then not the second. Is on a dedicated circuit with the stove only. After turning on stove, fan will not come back on, even after just t...

Great features and great style.

Our range top island had no vent at all and after doing some shopping I chose The Range Hood Store and the z-line hood. We are very happy with our new vent system it is the center attraction now along with our Viking 5 burner gas cooktop.

Beautiful addition to my new kitchen!

Happy I found this low profile chimney hood for my small kitchen. Everyone thinks it looks stunning. Fairly quiet on lower fan settings. Bright lights. I love it!

Love it!

This range hood was installed in my kitchen right before Christmas (December 23, houseful of guests!) I switched from a range with a downdraft to one without and needed a hood, but didn't want to obstruct the open view I had into our dining area. My ceiling was a little shorter than 8' and this was the only hood I could find that could be mounted in such a way that it didn't visually obstruct our opening. I am thrilled! Every time I pass through my kitchen I marvel at how inconspicuous and ye...

Great product for a good price

Well packaged unit that arrived on time. Requires two for install

Plastic Duct???

Visually it look fine. Had to purchase the extension pieces for the high ceiling. Completely NOT impressed with the extension pieces. My biggest complaint is that it came with plastic duct. I am real concerned about the safety of that design. A grease fire being sucked up by the hood could melt the duct and cause an attic fire. I will be looking for a 6" flex metal duct to replace the plastic one.

Nice product

This will look great once we get the canines and appliances installed at our project home. The instructions for the chimney mount are a real disappointment - but other than that the product is very well designed.

It’s beautiful

The hood is exactly as I envisioned and so far works perfectly.

Great product, poor installation instructions.

The product itself seems to be great. I’ve had it installed for a few weeks and all works great. The fan sucks well and is not overly loud. The instructions were very lacking though. We debated “what they might mean” several times, and had to guess on several things, as the instructions are VERY vague and general. It will tell you to install screws, when you actually need to use the nuts and bolts, and you have to make educated guesses on a couple steps. If you are clever, you’ll figure it...

Great experience and product

The range hood I purchased was exactly as advertised. Looks great. The representative who took my order was knowledgeable friendly and well-trained. Overall great product, great experience. Would recommend to all.

Looks expensive! Competitve pricing! No logos!

It's as quiet as all the competitors and sounds the same as any squirrel cage fan. Nice digital readout. The lights could be brighter, but they'll work. There are no logos printed on the exterior of the fan, I like that. Except for drilling a 6" hole through my exterior wall it was an easy install. It came well packed. I wish the gasket for the vent adapter would have been packed flat, otherwise I give it 5 stars! Nice sleek design.

Looks good and easy install

Looked at Island hoods in stores and had sticker shock but found ZLine 36" Island Hood much more affordable. Easy install in remodel Kitchen. Gave improved sightlines. CFM of 760 on high let me raise hood higher above stove. Delivery in two days was better than expected!

Love It!

So happy I bought this range hood - great feature. The main office was very responsive.

user friendly and effective!

Studied my unique need and kitchen dimensions for months before selecting this unit. Glad I did.

So simple I don't know why I waited so long

Hood came with everything possible for a quick install. Assembly of angle brackets and hood about an hour. Prepping opening and bracing another hour. (Electrical was already in place with an outlet in attic). Hardest part getting my 12 year and 16 year old girls to help hoist into place. It is now a focal point of our new kitchen, let alone how awesome the lights focus on the work station and the smoke from cooking gone with the blink of an eye. You definitely know the fan is on but it work...
