Good value, great coverage

Zinsser makes a great primer for interior or exterior. This was perfect for prepping my shed after removing old paint and wood replacement. While I used stainless nails, this is great for priming old nail heads that might show rust through a lesser primer.

Just buy it!

Amazing product! Great coverage. I primed a metal trailer and could not believe how what a good job this did. It beats Kilz 100%!!

Superior primer.

What I loved about this product was how well it covered dark paint - and how soon you could begin painting after using this primer. In fact, I used this primer and another brand in different rooms and the Zinsser product was far superior for applying paint and getting a smooth finish. I would definitely recommend this primer and wish I had applied it everywhere.

Excellent Primer

Rolled on nicely to several sheets of plywood that were later painted. Easy to open bucket, paint guy at Lowe's even shook this 2 gallon bucket for me. Applied it outdoors, quick dry, and second coat since I had extra. Will buy again!

The primer covered the surface quickly.

I needed to prime the eves of my house that had not been painted for about 9 years. After preparing the surface I used the primer paint covering the spots that were down to the bare wood. The next day I painted all the eves with the primer. It went on smoothly and when I was done you could not tell where all the old paint was removed to the wood. I had a complete white surface; no spots or blemishes.

Bulls-eye 1 2 3 is the best for ALL primer needs!

Bulls-eye 123 primer is my absolute go-to. It’s an effective bonding primer and has thus been essential in repainting an old Craftsman home where we are transitioning from oil-based yo latex paints. It also is the BEST base layer for wallpaper, both making application eadier snd creating a service that will mske removal less painful, if you want to change it up in years to come. Covers well

I used to cover black paint and it covered well. It did take two coats, but I was expecting that

Great first coat coverage. It went on cleanly and covered stains well.

Best around for water damage coverage

Best water base paint for painting metal siding I have found. Beats Kilz for covering up

I believe primer needs to be applied to walls mor.

It took longer than I expected I needed to go over walls to cover up old dark colors.

Good primer.

Seals water stains and crayon. It may require 2 coats if it has been a few years or new walls. Applys easily with roller.

Helps with peeling

This product helps paint adhere so much better. We have had very little chipping or peeling on our projects.
