[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this chainsaw. It is absolutely powerful yes, small it’s perfect to have to use at home on my small Homestead. I used to chop down a few trees in my yard. It was very powerful. It wasn’t to the point where my arms were hurting or my hands are hurting from the vibration. It’s a very easy use and I would highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing! It is absolutely perfect for around the house and camp. I can’t wait to take it camping or on an overland jeep ride. It’s mush lighter than my gas chainsaw and I used it to cut some aged pecan and scrap 4x4 posts that were left over from the previous hurricane. It cut all day on 1 charge and zipped right through everything like butter.

Nitro Chainsaw

The past couple of years we have had some severe storms with high winds. This resulted in trees and limbs falling multiple times. I have been using a smaller chainsaw but decided with the latest downed trees event to buy a larger battery chain saw. I looked at multiple saws and decide to stick with the 16" Nitro due to my past experience with WORX tools and being able to use the other WORX batteries, if needed, I have a WORX leaf blower, trimmer, extension chain saw, snow blower and garden shear...

Auto tensioner awful

Cuts surprisingly well. Very light weight. one set of batteries gets full charge while using the other. keeping proper chain tension almost impossible I would prefer a conventional chain tensioner

This is a game changer for Worx

The advanced battery design and the brushless motor of the 40V Nitro 16" Chainsaw are a game changer. I have owned a Worx blower for almost a decade and I still use the orginal battery. But the new battery design that is included with my new Nitro Chainsaw has incredible strength and longevity. These batteries combined with the brushless motor create a surprisingly strong combination. Way to go Worx.

Performed Great

40V 16 inch chainsaw worked great. Limbed and cut up 50 feet of a downed pine and 4 other smaller trees caught in its wake on a single charge. Very pleased with the feel and function of this chainsaw.

I bought this for my husband to do minor yard work, check it out, with only 1 charge! Awesome little chainsaw. We are so pleased!. The largest tree was 12in. diameter, and about 30ft. tall.

Fantastic tool

This chain saw works harder than the big gas-powered chain saw I have always used. Especially good for trimming trees as it is light yet powerful. Batteries lasted as long as I could work.

Feels like a gas powered chainsaw!

Bought this to clear trees at the edge of my property. First thought, out of the box, it is heavy. Then put two 4amp hour batteries on it and Wow It is heavy as gas unit. Now for use. It's is awesome. Cuts like butter as it should. I love how much quieter it is over a gas unit. The 16 in. Is the perfect size for getting small and medium size jobs done. It is the perfect tool to go along with all of my other Worx tools. Perfect in every way.

I used it cleaning fence row works really good used it 4 hours still have half charge on batteries I’m very pleased probably won’t use gas saws again

Great Item. Only problem is that you have to pull brake control VERY Hard forward to disingage the brake. You think you're going to break it but you're not!!!

Need More Power

Well I have had this Saw for about three weeks and it is Good really Good but I would love to see it if the batteries were more powerful. I mean it is excellent what it was made for but I put it to the test right out of the box, I had an oak That my Husband laid down about a month prior and this thing is every bit of 38 to 40 inches in diameter. well, my Husband Died before he could come back and finish cutting it up and I knew I could not use the extension cord that he used so I ordered this on...

Great addition to my saws

I was pleasantly surprised at its power and runtime before recharging. We like it so much that we bought a second one immediately so now we have a spare set of batteries and. Backup saw. Easily cuts a 12-14” tree! I will only use my gas saws on large trees now. Brushless motor and adjustable chain tightening just another added perk. Absolutely love it

Powerful and light!

Bought this since my gas chainsaw was having troubles. This saw cut down two full size birch trees on a single charge. Had no problems cutting 18” logs, it went through like a warm knife on butter.

dont buy it

worst money I ever spent. ok for tree limb pruning but binds up on anything over 4-5 inches diam.
