Great design

I bought it two weeks ago. It is easy to use.

Power for the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw has the power for those everyday jobs. Cuts good and plenty of power for those jobs around the good sized yard. Once you set it up properly, it cuts great.

It’s a game changer!

This was a game changer for me. I’m not good with combustion engines. In fact, I demolished a weed wacker years ago when I couldn’t start it (it was very satisfying to smash it against the sidewalk like an axe chopping wood). Anyway, I’ve had a chainsaw for three years, and only successfully used it twice, because I could never seem to get it started, or keep it running. I was skeptical. I mean, how powerful can a battery-operated chain saw be? And, just as important, how long can the charge...

Quiet battery powered chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very capable, easy to use, and best of all quiet battery powered chainsaw. I was very impressed with how much power this unit has as well as the chain sharpness/quality. The 4Ah batteries charge very quickly on the dual pack charger and last longer than expected. The first job I used the chainsaw on was about an hour of trimming on an Oak and Jacaranda and the power meter was still at 4/5 bars. The chain brake works as advertised and ...

Works well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this as soon as I received it to cut down an out-of-control palm tree next to my house. I had a little trouble getting the chain to stay on, but when I re-read the directions, it was clear that I'd not followed them correctly. After I fixed my mistake, it worked great! I'm so glad I went with this chainsaw.

Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 40v Power Share 16” cordless chainsaw definitely gets the job done. Husband was out searching for even more things to chop down. It’s quieter than our normal gasoline saw and had lots of power. Great that it’s ready in an instant, is lighter than a gas powered saw, and cuts just as strong. This thing saws like butter right through stumps and branches. Clean and fast cuts. We were pleasantly surprised that it was much quicker than anticipat...

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is great. We used it for some moderate jobs around the yard. I recommend reading the manual before using as tightening the chain is very important! It cut through very thick trees and a big bushes. I highly recommend this chainsaw.

Function & Flexibility Provide Power to Perform

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With spring upon us, we realized many of our trees felt the brundt of the winter storm here in Texas and needed to be removed. We chose the Nitro 40V Cordless Chainsaw because of the flexibility of not having a cord to hassle with as well as the convenience of the brushless motor that my husband says provides more power and run longer. He first took limbs off easily, and then sectioned off the trunk of two of our live oak trees that died. Wi...
