Unfortunately not worth the money. Lowe’s had the best price of $269 for saw, batteries and charger at the time. Chainsaw works but the thin chain gets pinched when cutting or falls off track too easy, batteries do not last long at all. It’s a cute toy but not practical if you have much cutting to do

Does the brushless motor ever need to be cleaned? What is the maintenance for this chainsaw beside oil refills and blade replacements?

Do Not By---Too Many Fatal Flaws

I purchased a Worx 40 volt 16" and it worked well for a few months. They something happened and the chain kept being pulled off the bar, which required time to put it back and retighten it--and then something else happened and it it not possible to tighten it enough to keep the chain on the bar. These are fatal flaws and I cannot encoutage anyone to buy one

Always having to clean and reposition chain

Wood chips keep on gathering under chain cover, jamming chain and must stop work to clean and reposition chain. Unsure if I'll buy again battery chainsaw.

This 40v gets the job done every time. I was surprised at the ease of starting. So portable, no gas needed, sturdy and cuts limbs with ease. This 70 yr old woman loves it.

Great product.

Easy to handle. Does the job of trimming tree limbs well. Powerfully, battery holds charge to finish job Pole is easy to attach and remove when done.

I Can Use It!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had neck and back surgeries and can’t start gas powered yard equipment. This chainsaw, not only can I start it with ease, but I can actually USE it!!! I have cut down several medium sized trees!! It has a little weight to it but it isn’t backbreaking heavy. The only troubling thing is the chain drops off quite a bit but I’ve gotten really good at putting it back on. Thank you WORX for making equipment that I can actually use!!!

This chain saw works and works. Cut down and finished off trees in short order that had been damaged in storm. Ran a long time on a charge so we could get lots done. My son said it was better than the bigger gas-powered saw we have. Charging was alos fast and easy.

Mistake

Love it

I love this cordless chainsaw. It is lightweight and easy to use. I use it all the time for yard clean up. Very happy with this chainsaw. The battery operation makes it so convenient.

not very happy with saw chain keeps coming off no matter what i do and npw it stays running untill you pull the battery out

The saw works great, but the chain will stretch and there isn't enough bar to tighten the chain. when this happens (and it will) the saw is useless because when anyone tries to use the saw the chain will jump off the bar. most of your work time will be spent putting the chain back on the bar only to have the same thing happen again.

Every easy to use

Great chainsaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am clearing a farm with 30 year growth. Between the Nitro 16" chainsaw and the 10" pole saw, it is going well. Batteries last hours. The pole saw is wonderful. I am sure it is for limbs on trees, but using it on over growth hedges, thorns and brush. That way you are not being poked, thorns and ticks. Once they are down, throw on the fire piles. Then use the nitro to clear the stumps. Then the brush cutter clears the rest. And finally,...

Works well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this product and it does work pretty well. The battery life is quite good. Cuts through pretty descent sized logs. Very quite and no hassle with gas. Just add bar oil and go! We would highly recommend this
