Quite capable. Could use some refinement, though.

While I am very happy with the Worx electric chainsaw's reliability, versus my Poulan Pro 20" gas-powered saw (that I hadn't maintained), I appreciate the Poulan's chain tensioning system more than the Worx's. Otherwise, I was able make quick work of a solid and fairly large ash tree, using the Worx saw, so I am pleased with my purchase.

Good chainsaw, so far.

Thus far, this chainsaw works well. Hopefully it will continue to. It cuts tree limbs and trunks within its size range very well. I purchased it from Lowe's at a 'clearance' (thus very reasonable) price. However, some precautions: (1) During initial use, watch the chain carefully and adjust (i.e., tighten) it as needed. The chain tightener works well and easily. (2) The automatic chain and bar oiler works too well; that is, it emits copious amounts of oil which (i) adhere to wood chips that ...

First time using the saw.

Used this saw for the first time today.Cut for about 90 minutes. Was really happy with the power and speed of the blade. Finally not breathing the chain fumes. High Recommended.

Easy operation

Just the right size for jobs around the house. I have already used it to clear some remaining dead fall from Helene.

The saw works great but one thing didn't like is when the blade loosen it wants to jump of the blade.

Bought this saw for my husband to combat cedar trees. Works like a breeze! It is super lightweight, has plenty of power, a truly great purchase.

Charger no work

Chain saw is great. However the dual battery charger is defective. Had to go to WORX to get it replaced. Recommend do not sell a product you cannot manage through out the process.

Batteries

Nowhere in the description to purchase the chainsaw Did it mention that you needed those 4.0 amp batteries?I purchased the chainsaw and used my batteries that I have for my other units And it destroyed the batteries.

Worx chainsaw

Unfortunately not worth the money. Lowe’s had the best price of $269 for saw, batteries and charger at the time. Chainsaw works but the thin chain gets pinched when cutting or falls off track too easy, batteries do not last long at all. It’s a cute toy but not practical if you have much cutting to do

Does the brushless motor ever need to be cleaned? What is the maintenance for this chainsaw beside oil refills and blade replacements?

Do Not By---Too Many Fatal Flaws

I purchased a Worx 40 volt 16" and it worked well for a few months. They something happened and the chain kept being pulled off the bar, which required time to put it back and retighten it--and then something else happened and it it not possible to tighten it enough to keep the chain on the bar. These are fatal flaws and I cannot encoutage anyone to buy one
