Ratings & Reviews for WORX Power Share 40-volt max 14-in Battery Chainsaw Battery Not Included Charger Not Included

outstanding

I was very surprised on how well this chainsaw worked. I am very happy with its functions . Light weight and easy to use. 40 V. works well.

Did the job easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this for the first time on a small tree amd it worked beautifully. Battery lasts longer than I expected. And chain was easy to put back on

Easy, but low performance

Seems to hold battery, obviously easier start than gas. Putting chain back on is easy, but the chain slips off A LOT. Not suitable for even medium sized jobs.

Cuts like a knife thru butter

I bought my chain saw and have been extremely pleased with its performance and most of all the life of two fresh charged batteries. I ran down before the saw did. Great product.

great product!

tried the chain saw out and loved it! especially the quiet!

Talk about a great chainsaw.. love it, I own 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed by this saw and the light weight and power I bought a second one, and left it at my father's place.. He is 70 and love using that saw as well.. its light weight and best of all its not a loud and pull start gas saw.. And to tighten the chain is simple and only takes seconds, no wrenches or screw drives need, shich is great.. You can cut alot of trees and branches up on a single charge as well. And you don't waste bar oi...

Love the saw but batteries only last 30 mins

The saw works great but batteries only last 30 mins or less then you have to charge for an hour.

Quiet Powerful Does the Job Well

We had the trees on our property professionally trimmed and thinned for fire protection and general tree health. The larger trees were left for us to use as firewood after the tree was trimmed or cut down. The pieces are too large for our fire place so I needed to shorten the length of those logs. The pros did the hardest part that I can’t do, but I am able to use my new Worx chainsaw to cut them to the appropriate length. The chainsaw is much quieter than a gasoline saw- that’s VeryGood. The ba...

Great saw

Great addition to my cutting tools. Can grab this saw for cutting up wood and brush piles and clearing fence lines. When you have to set saw down and do clearing by hand this 40v saw makes the job convenient and safe.

Great power

I have 10 inch and jaws WORX chainsaws so decided to add this one for larger cuts that I usually need my gas operated saw to accomplish. Thus far I am impressed with this saw’s capabilities to do what I needed a gas saw to do previously. My only critique is that the saw should come with the higher capacity 20V batteries.

Terrible saw

I used this saw one time to cut down a average size tree in my yard. It didn’t work well. Chain wore out and kept popping off. After fixing and ordering a new chain still issue after issues. Terrible. Don’t recommend.

Oil for 40v chainsaw

Why Doesn’t this saw come with oil

Happy with purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an old unreliable gas chainsaw. Very happy with the purchase. it is quieter, lighter and more powerful than I expected.

Great little saw.

This saw has performed very well for me so far. It has greatly exceeded my expectations. The biggest thing I have cut was a good 8” in diameter, and it ate right through it much quicker than I was anticipating. A plus is that the batteries recharge in about an hour, and I use the same batteries in my other Worx tool. I use this saw for my smaller jobs. I still will haul out the gas powered one for major work.

Great chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this for two days of cutting dead trees, no problems, worked great.

light weight, cuts very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] a good replacement for my old heavy gas chain saw

Ideal saw for elderly people

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw a year ago when I first came out, and sure glad that I did. I am 73 yrs. old and just don't have the strength like I use to have. This saw is a no brainer as for the ease of use

Perfect saw to gather wood for fireplace

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this two weeks ago to get fire wood on my 10 acre property in Texas. Seasoned logs were available from previous clearing. Then we got our storm this week and I was now armed to get enough firewood to keep house warm despite outages. This Is a great emergency saw to have on hand as it is light and easy to use.

Best Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of worx] I have so many Worx batteries the fact that I could buy this tool without a battery and save money is a great deal. I have huge trees that I cut down before the winter storm and this saw did it within perfect timing.

Tough, easy handling well balanced saw!

It cut 12” and larger Ponderosa Pine logs with ease. My old gas chain saw goes for “garage sale” this spring!
