Well designed trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to edge lawn with a straight line and the battery lasts me up to 3 uses before needing a charge. I made the switch from gas to this battery trimmer and in my opinion it is just as powerful as gas and no need to be bothered with gas and oil mixture.

Trimmer string gets caught

I bought this 6 months ago work pretty well until it just stopped. Turns out that the trimmer line got caught under the trimmer head and there is no way to remove the head to get to the caught line. It’s unusable this way. I loved the trimmer until this happened nothing is wrong with it but the head won’t spin properly withe the line caught. There should be a way to take the head off. It’s easy to take the head off most other trimmers

Worse than I expected

Weed wacker is VERY heavy and difficult to use due to the weight. Getting the line to extend is almost impossible. I would not recommend using this item if the weight might be a problem for you as it is for me or unless you can handle having to stop the unit and pull the line out by hand each and every time necessary.

Great addition to my tool arsenal

I bought this thinking i would just take it out of the box and it would be mediocre. On the contrary this has become my go-to gadget. It edges beautifully and the wheels keeps my edging from looking like it had an episode of some kind. I LOVE IT!

Wow says it all. This gets the job done. Be certain to practice beforehand with th edger. Lots of power

This one is a winner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this primarily as an edger. I have several hundred feet of driveway and this has plenty of power to handle it. I really like how much string it holds and how easy it feeds out new line. The shield is also big enough so it does not throw debris up in your face. As far as I can figure this is the only 40 volt combination string trimmer/edger out there. There used to be another brand but I can no longer find it in a 40 volt model. This...

Fixed shaft a problem

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here are my complaints - 1-No telescoping handle , product is too long. 2-batteries that are shipped with the unit are only 2ah so they only lasted about 15 minutes. Bigger batteries cost another 100 bucks 3-String feeder did not work. Only good thing is that it’s lighter than the Ryobi, but with larger batteries that may change. Also I like the adjustable cutting head.

to long shaft need to be telascopic

I bought this to replace WG191 doesn’t even close chop down the weeds that I did with it. Have to press too many buttons to run, usually hit cord feed button when grabbing.

Great Weedeater/edger

It took me awhile to choose a new weedeater. I tried to research several brands. It seemed to have good reviews. It is the best decision I made. It works great. I'm very pleased with it. I have shoulder problems and others have caused alot of pain. This one doesn't. Its lightweight. I love that it has the wheels for edging, cause I have a good bit of edging to do. Over all, I love it.

Not up to other Worx trimmer

I prefer the older models with one battery. The new one IS too long, too heavy & I didn’t know you have to buy your own spools as opposed to the smaller trimmer. Disappointed but stuck with it now.

Perfect

Compared to my old gas trimmer this trimmer is lighter, easier to use, and from what I can tell it cuts just as well. I do have a smaller yard now but I can mow the grass then switch batteries to the trimmer, trim, and still have plenty of charge left for touchups later. Highly recommend this trimmer.

WG184 trimmer edger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it performs nicely. I can trim and edge my one quarter acre yard one and a half times on a single charge. It is light weight and I highly recommend it.

The guard shape is fantastic!

I have used the trimmer for about 3 weeks now. The guard keeps my jeans/shoes from turning green. The batteries do not last long enough for any major work, which I do. I would recommend this for people w/a small area to keep trimmed and can be completed in 25-30 minutes. A second set of batteries is a must if doing a larger area -- and you must be near an electrical source to recharge the batteries for 35-40 minutes.
