Would RecommendSo one difference I noticed straight away is that there are no paint roller edge marks. It applies paint very smooth and applies more paint than a roller. It can be quite messy though, the trick is to not load too much paint on it. Only dip the very front in, dont let paint get on the back. This will minimize dripping. I did my walls so fast with it! Tried the ceiling and it worked too. It does edges very well, so you dont have to edge corners first. again the angle takes a bit of practice, but ...

Too much effort and less output
Would Not RecommendThis takes too much energy to rub the pad on the wall at the end of a stick. The roller is way better. This paint pad also does not hold enough paint and goes dry very soon resulting in multiple dips into the paint holding tray.
