Just a basic refrigerator

I thought these things lasted longer.

We picked this model because it was in the clearance / returned isle and it came with an ice maker installed whereas the other models in this price range did not. It seems to be working well, but it runs twice as loud as the 13 year old model it was replacing. The door hinges do swap side to side to accommodate your kitchen setup, but they are not user friendly so take your time and be patient. I know this is a low end model, but they didn't have to take extra time to make the interior look che...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We hooked up the icemaker...This is the first time we have had an automatic icemaker and we are enjoying it immensely!!! The freezer has lots of space as well as the fridge.The shelves are very sturdy too.We also like the handleleless doors because our great nieces and nephews liked to swing on our old refrigerator door!

Worst ever

Bought one 21 months ago. I've had 50 year old fridges that performed and cooled better. If the freezer was cold then the fridge wasn't and vice versa. Temp controls were difficult to understand. Finally gave up and bought a new Fridgedaire a day ago, and my wife, daughter, and I all like it. As for the Whirlpool, I've donated it to Carnival Cruise line for use as an anchor.

New replacement refrigerator

the worst ice maker

the ice bin does not even fit against the back of refrigerator and Ice goes all over the place. they need econfigure the ice bin. we turned the refrigerator down and everything still ices up
