Awesome ice maker

Forced to download app as door controls inoperable

We've had it for a month and have liked it overall. But we'd like to enable sounds for door ajar and disable ice maker when we travel. We followed cryptic instructions in the guide -- nothing worked. We neither need, not want the whirlpool app on our devices. We just want to be able to simply turn on off functions as necessary.

Perfect for our needs

Okay, but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am generally happy with this refrigerator, I think it was a good value for the price. The only issues that I have are with the icemaker and what I believe is unused space, The icemaker bin should have higher walls, since when getting ice,often cubes slip out of the bin and go below the shelving into the bottom of the freezer below the drawers and some just wind up outside on the floor. Spacing-wise, I am wondering why there are such gaps beh...

The motor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main thing I do not like about my new whirlpool refrigerator is that it makes this rattling noise when the motor start starts up. This goes on for about a minute and then it sounds like a normal refrigerator. I haven’t had time to find out if this is normal or not. Maybe you could tell me if this is what is expected?

new fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it very much because can easily see what is in it. I had another frig with top freezer but would forget things in it in back and had to just about stand on my head to see so would sit in chair because I am 72 and difficult to reach things. Also my old fridge even if I put veges in veges drawers would freeze . I had to keep them in front and could not put much due to freeze if near back of fridge or in drawers. I threw away a lot of froze...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My refrigerator is working well and looks nice. The range I got at the same time had something stuck to it after pulling the protective film off that I still can't get all of it off and one of the burners already has some little bubbles forming.

Handsome fridge, Great quality

Love it

It'll do, but nothing amazing

It will keep your foods cold as the most basic function. Wouldn't buy again. The items in the back of the fridge wind up being partially frozen. The sounds it makes are so annoying and loud. Our fridge went out and we had to get something in our budget at the time...but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for...it's truly a budget fridge. As soon as our budget allows will be purchasing something else that's better

Counter depth is nice.

I got a great deal on this fridge, very happy with it. My wife loves the olive maker.

Horrible Customer Service and...

Within 2 weeks after being delivered and installed by Lowes, water dispenser stopped working. (Came on a few days later, then problem happened all over again!) A week later the water filter indicator lit up signifying a clogged/dirty filter. These filters (came with the fridge and were installed by Lowes) are rated to last 6 months and 200 gallons. It is just my wife and I and there its not way we used 200 gallons in less than 3 weeks. Called Whirlpool customer service. (They are closed we...

Great size, works well.

We are really enjoying this refrigerator for the month we have had it. Great size, lots of usable door bins and shelving. The counter-depth is a good choice for us. It seems to hold consistent temperature. Two refrigerator repair people recommended Whirlpool.

Perfect for our needs

When we started searching for a refrigerator to fit our needs, it seemed like an impossible task. We wanted counter-depth, black (to match the rest of the existing appliances), french door, freezer on the bottom and if possible with no exposed ice dispenser, potentially something that would not break the bank.
