Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000DFc Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3901 Running Watt Gasoline, Liquid propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Perfect for RV and Home Use

I bought this generator to run an RV with a single AC and it works wonders.

Never received

I would recommend in-store pick-up. FedEx delivered it to the wrong house, Lowe’s making no attempt to resolve issue. Needed the iGen for a trip in a four days. Can’t even get replacement by then since it’s not a stocked item.

New Purchase

Just purchased. Setup and initial start went as expected with no problems

So far so good

I just got this today. I bought it because my wife and I are full time RV’er. So, I spoke with my electrician about a generator for my RV and this is what he recommended and what he currently uses.

Inverter generator 5000

We have not started it yet but will do it today or tomorrow. We are making sure we do the first start by the book. We are seniors and needed something that both of us can run

Great for older people

Bought yesterday for my grandmother cause her power had been out for a couple days and she can’t pull the cord to start. The push button works great and is suprisingly easy to move around.

Will review for free cover!

Have to leave a review to receive my free cover. Have not used it yet, I'm sure it does the job.

Super Quiet

This is my 2nd Westinghouse iGen. Great features, starts easy, very quiet.

Smooth and quiet.

I bought this unit and so far so good. Setup was easy enough and included everything I needed except gasoline. Started easily and is plenty quieter than my other generator. I have high hopes that this will be a quality product that will last.

Easy setup

Out of the box, fill up with proved oil, plug in the batter, and it fires right up.

Great features and good price!

Just purchased this generator and it works like advertised.

Sounds quiet

I just received today so far looks great barely going to use it in 2 weeks

Quiet

Fired up easily, very quiet. Haven't fully used it yet but glad I purchased

IGen5000DFc

Purchased for our 5th wheel. Has great features for camping with the dual fuel. Runs quiet!

Great purchase! Wish I'd have bought years ago!

I purchased this for my home as we lose power often and I have multiple refrigerators & freezers full of food. It has been a great purchase. It's so easy to set up, start, connect and power everything I need. Super quiet and efficient. Love the Eco feature.......

Great First Impressions

I have just bought this generator and have not run it very long. However it did arrive neatly packaged with very clear instructions and flags on the machine to help with the initial start up. Once I added the motor oil and connected the starter battery, it started right up with the push of a button. The unit has nice operation panel and easy to read gauges. The unit weighs about 100 pounds but has robust handles for lifting and and extending pull bar that allows for easy wheeling and movement...

Really nice for the money

Bought this for my camper but haven’t had a chance to run on it yet. I have started it and ran a few tools around the house to break it in and so far so good. The build quality is really nice and it’s super quiet. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fair priced quiet generator.

Great Generator with Great Features! : )

iGen5000DFc Inverter Generator is super quiet and runs on gasoline or propane. It starts easily with a push button on the generator or with an included remote key fob. It also has a pull start.
