Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000DFc Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3901 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Performed exactly as advertised

This generator came with the right amount of oil, almost. That is, it comes with a 0.6 qt container of break-in oil. However, don't pour in the last ounce unless you like cleaning up oil spills. Once you put all the oil in and unscrew the funnel, that last ounce will spill out into the bottom of the generator. #@%$! Using propane as the fuel source, it started in about TWO seconds. Also, it's much quieter than my 3,500 watt open frame generator. I've only gotten 3 of the 5 break-in hours o...

iGEN5000DFc

Just got this generator yesterday. Easy to follow instructions fired right up so quiet and very efficient. Runs the A/C and microwave in the my travel trailer without straining. Can't wait to get it out camping.

Great power

We are able to power multiple high power appliances at once. It was easy to set up and get started. Appreciate the mobility in case my wife needs to move it she can with ease. The duel option of fuel is nice and we feel safe with the emergency CO2 shutoff.

Easy to start, Quiet

Just received and set up. Started right away and was quieter than expected.

Remote control, ease of use.

While we have not used it at this time, we were interested in how many qualities it has to offer, the reviews are all good. Easy to start and move around.

Good features

Daughter has this generator and recommended it to us. So far we haven’t had to use it but we tried it out and works great.

Great features

Liked this unit as an inverter generator for how quite it is and best for sensitive electronic equipment as well as a duel fuel option. Nice compact unit.

Works Fine on Propane

I just bought it and use one time so far. Worked great on propane.

Great Generator

Very easy to setup and get started using it for your needs. Light weight to transport.

Super Quiet

We wanted to replace our extremely loud generator and found that all the reviews for this one stated how quiet it is. We find that to be true! Would recommend based on this.

Great Features

Went camping with friends who had one and we had to get one! Can’t wait to give it a try on our next camping trip.

Generator for multiple uses

This generator is what I would consider, exceptional. This is a very quiet generator compared to previously owned generators. It is weight proportionate for its size. I did get the dual fuel option, not sure I will use it but its a good option to have. I did notice reading the book that the propane fuel does have a bit of a shorter run time but not significant. There is a very convenient, telescoping pull handle. This is very sturdy handle, and stows away out of sight when not in use. The remote...

Startup easy

Started up in minutes and runs great so far. Tested propane only

So many perks at a very fair price point

compact yet beefy, this generator is awesome! The carrying handle is terrific and the dual fuel is perfect for those preppers out there. (Propane can be stored indefinitely)

Great Product!

Easy to set up! Generator started very easily. Much quieter than expected. I love the remote control feature. This was a great purchase.

iI'm very happy with the generator

I bought this to use with my travel trailer. I have tried to use other 2000 W generators tied together and the air conditioner comes on sometime and sometimes not. This generator runs at 25% with the AC on. What else can you ask for. I'm very happy with it.

Solid Generator

Recently purchased after an outage. It was very easy to set up, and instructions were easy to follow. I ran it with propane and in eco mode, it's about as quiet/loud as an idling lawn mower, which is nice. the handle makes it easy to move about, though I am slightly concerned that it has a bit of flex to it. All in all, a nice product.

NICE SIZE

NICE AND QUIET.EVEN WHEN LOADED,AIR CONDITION AND MICROWAVE RUNNING
