2550DFc Generator is great

It's a nice unit. I got it to run propane. It was easy and simple to get hooked up and going. It's light and not too loud. I have gas units and wanted propane as another option if there weather problems etc. I recommend it.

Great generator!

I bought this after hurricane Helene and it has come in so handy several times during power outages. I especially appreciate the propane fuel usage, as it is less smelly than gasoline and I don't have to worry about it going stale.

Don't bother if you only want to use propane

Getting this thing to start on propane is about impossible. Tried two different full tanks. Choke/no choke. SLOWLY opening tank valve. I could go on and on. Bottom line is, when I needed this generator, it wasn't able to perform. Look elsewhere if you want to use propane.

Good little generator

This is exactly what I needed to power my Lance cabover. I always use propane as the fuel source and I'm able to store it on the rear floorboard of my F250 when not in use. Using only propane enables me to store it without the smell and fumes of gasoline.

So Far So Good

Only needed this once so far. The only issue I encountered is that the stickers on the main power switch are reversed. I kept pulling and pulling but it wouldn't start. Once I flipped the switch the right way, it started on the first pull.

I purchased it today. The snows deep and wet. The power is most likely to go out tonight. Since it is new, it is running now, the noise is low. It starts easily and sooooo much better that our prior generator.

Convenient; Ladies, It’s Not As Heavy To Move

We bought this during winter storm fern. We were concerned about weight, difficulty, etc. as women larger mechanics scan be awkward. I was pleasantly surprised. We needed something for an emergency like this. Would recommend purchase to prepare for weather such as this or convenience! Bought gas cans with nozzle for easier filling.

Lives up to its advertising. Good value.

Starts easily, runs smoothly and quietly. Just bought this for electric power outage backup during storms. Only plan to run a refrigerator, lamp and small TV so this should handle that easily. On initial start up it ran mostly at full speed for about 30 minutes on 9 or 10 ounces of gasoline. Transition going into and out of eco mode was smooth. Haven't tried running on propane yet but it seems like a useful option. Wish there was a fuel gage, but overall it seems a good value for the price.

I purchased this to have in case of power failure or when I need 110v outdoor to operate power equipment , this is awesome generator duel fuel , love that option , so far starts easily on 1-2 pull .runs a lot quietly than my previous gen.
