Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen2550DFc Recoil Start 2550 Starting / 1900 Running Watt Gasoline, Liquid propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Runs great. Quiet

Runs good on gas and propane. Quiet. Keeps my APC battery backups charged during power outages

This will work well with my power station..

Simple and effective

Easy set up and easy to use ,well-built good . No defects

Do not purchase

Both Lowe’s and Westinghouse have been completely unethical and unreliable in handling my situation. I received a defective product, and despite contacting both companies, neither has been willing to properly resolve the issue. This is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to fight to get a defective product issue addressed. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before purchasing from either company.

It's nice machine. I've already talked to support nice people. Have not tried it yet but will soon if you want to within somewhere in the next 30 to 60 days. Email me and I can give you a report of having tried it out

Bought it a couple days ago. Works good but thought I would get better fuel economy.

Reliable, Quiet, and Efficient

Amazing power to run my camper AC (with Micro-Air EasyStart Breeze installed on the AC unit). It is quiet and efficient. Using 20 pounds of propane, we can camp for 3 nights and run the generator each night.

Good so far, but....

Plan to use primarily LPG for fuel. However, it wouldn't start after connecting to LPG. Checked and double checked everything. Then I repositioned fuel source selector from LPG symbol to gas and it started right up. Put a load on it (window air conditioner) and was very smooth.

Ease of use

I Just bought this small generator easy to set up and use. Directions are pretty straightforward.

Very Portable

This generator runs great - right out of the box and hooked to my propane tank I use for the grill. That simple. Heavy duty enough to run both my small fridge and freezer in the garage at the same time plus charge my cell and lap top. Light weight enough for my wife to move around as needed and setup too. I recommend it.

Awesome portable quiet generator

Awesome , quiet , powerful generator! Runs just as smooth as my previous honda generator. Can handle a lot and love the dual fuel tank

Great features, good value.

Bought this a month ago. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but it has great features at a reasonable price and it is not overly large which makes it convenient to store in the garage without consuming a large amount of space when not in use.

Finding the Serial #

Could not find the serial number for the registration. Had to guess that I entered the correct number. It was not clear to me.

Portable and very easy to use

Love this little thing. Powerful enough for my small freezer and garage refrigerator with no problems. We also tested it on our kitchen refrigerator and it ran like a top. We are using propane for fuel since because it’s on hand with our bbg grill. Easy to setup and use. We also purchased the tent in case we need to use it in Rainey weather. We highly recommend it. Easy to move around as needed.

Great option for hurricane season

I bought this a couple weeks ago and am very excited to use it in the near future. I love how portable and easy to use that it appears to be.

Works

Works good to power my generator. Where's the fuel tank was a little bigger? But it's okay

Solid workhorse

Bought it in July - packaging was great as were the instructions. Love the dual fuel option.

Secluded Camping.

Easy start, lightweight and quiet running. Dual fuel is a great bonus also.
