Great grill
Would RecommendI own Weber grills for decades. Needed a new one for my second home. It was merely a matter of figuring out the right grill for the amount of use. Easy to put together. The fact that I can always get parts if I need to make any repairs, not that you ever have to do that, makes ownership a very simple process.

Would RecommendI’ve had my new Weber Genesis for about a month now with 4–5 cooks on it, and my early impressions are very positive. The sear function is outstanding as I like how this grill gets scorching hot, which makes reverse‑searing steaks incredibly easy. It also heats up noticeably faster than my 2011 Genesis, which was already a solid performer. The grill grates feel just as sturdy as the previous generation, which I appreciate. Love the sear zone and the easy to manage design for cleaning drip tray. Even heat, have made ribs, whole chicken burgers and steaks - all good and a great size for us. Solid construction and materials.

Warranty claim
Would Not RecommendI got my Weber a few years ago and the grill is great. I love it. I gave it one star because the burners, flavor bars and heat deflectors have rusted I called in for replacements under warranty and the representative said I need to take a picture or video and send it in. I don’t have a digital camera or video camera so I’m out of luck. The grill is great. My issue is the warranty process. Going to do research on a different grill and their warranty policy.

Quality Control is Absent
Would Not RecommendReceived the grill in a box, unassembled. Box was in perfect condition. Opened the box, all other boxed components are good. Removed those boxes and the lid of the grill is severely damaged, as well as other parts. If the shipping box is undamaged, then the factory making these grills has some major challenges. This is unfortunate to see - I’ve been a Weber customer for 25+ years but the quality has significantly gone downhill over the past couple.

Temperature control
Would RecommendCouldn't get temp at particular setting so I tried experimenting.With left most knob on the half moon and others off, temp gets to about 230. If middle knob is on max with others off, temp gets to about 360. Does this mean with all three burners at max we are over 1000 degrees? Seems like for the price, I sb easily able to regulate to within 25 degrees of a desired temp.
