Does what it is supposed to do.

Works well. The only improvement that did be nice is a trigger to cut off steam.

Works great

It takes a while to heat the water but the tank is large so that is OK. Makes a lot of steam. The small head makes it easy to work above doorways and in other tight spots.

Wall paper remover

Best investment for removing wall paper. Made the job so much easier.

Expectations

It claims to remove multiple layers wall paper and it couldn't even remove two. Good concept needs more engineering. I returned it to the store.

Money well spent!

This was a miracle worker in taking down very difficult wallpaper in a newly purchased home! Made the job much easier and would recommend it to anyone!

Affordable and Easy-to-use

For basically the same price as renting you can buy this unit and it works great. I had a 11x15 room with the original late 60s wallpaper that had been wallpaperd over in the 80s and this worked so well. Only took about 4 hours to remove all the wallpaper. I have wallpaper in a few other rooms and closets still so having this on hand as we go through and update our house is perfect. Very glad I bought this. My dad was talking trash that he didn't think it would work as well as a commercial steam...

Wonderful tool for wallpapers removal

I didn’t trust from beginning it would work when I bought it. But after using I really surprised. It observed water into wallpaper well enough to make the wallpaper comes out so fast. Only problem you still need clean the glue left behind after that. I will try another room next week.

Works okay

This unit works pretty good, although it does blow a lot more water than steam and that can get really messy. Wish there was an adjustment knob to control steam output

Wagner Power Steamer worked great!

I bought this steamer to help remove a room full of wallpaper. It did a great job! The hose and cord are good lengths, making it easy to get around. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does not have an on/off switch so you have to unplug it if you want to turn it off for a bit. But otherwise this is a great tool for removing wallpaper!

Worked well!

I removed a border in my bathroom and it took about 45 minutes. The only thing I'd say is that it takes a lot longer than 15 minutes for the heat to get to a point where the steam plate is ready and steaming. Overall I'm very pleased.

Make your life easier and pick this up

after spending 2 hours and making little progress, I was back at lowes and saw this on an end cap. Thought about it for 2 minutes or so and bought it. Instant production increase of 2000%

Worked great ! It is a 2 person job unless you don't care about the mess. The only safety problem I see is it should have a switch to turn off. It must be unplugged. I will still recommend it.

Inexpensive little workhorse!

After considering more expensive steamers to tackle eleven wallpapered rooms, my husband and I decided to buy two of these Wagner steamers instead so we could work at the same time. They made a generally messy job quick and painless! There was almost no wall damage. I am really, really impressed. Protip: they take a while to heat, so fill them with hot water at least 20 min. before you intend to use them.

Money Well Spent

It's hard to believe a $50 steamer could do the trick, but it did. At first I thought there was no way it would work well because it seemed like cheap plastic components. But this machine packed a wallop when it came to creating enough steam to get through my 27-year-old vinyl wallpaper. I had to make one pass to get the vinyl layer off, then another to steam off the backing. I'm not saying that it made the job of stripping wallpaper more fun, but it did make it a whole lot easier!

Use a clothing steamer instead

Problems with this steamer: - It takes a full 15 minutes to heat up. Clothing steamers and other power steamers take only seconds to heat up. - There is no on/off button or light to indicate that it is on or how long it will be until ready. Simple Economical Reliable product

Just finished removing wallpaper from a 3600 sq. ft. house . Every room covered from ceiling to floor with ugly wallpaper. The Wagner power steamer 715 performed with flying colours . Some rooms went pretty easy , some were very difficult. Thanks to my 715 with its long steam hose I could work on ladders and overcome the toughest tasks .
