Here's the deal plain and simple: If you're planning a wallpaper removing job, buy this steamer. It's very simple to use. Fill with water to full mark, plug the unit into a wall outlet. It takes about 15-20 minutes for the gallon of water to boil and produce steam. Surprised me, It may look cheap, works really well

Great product for the price, the smaller handheld black plastic hand tool works the best with removing all the wallpaper it gets the steam hotter. It is time consuming took me 2 days to remove wallpaper from a large master bedroom and it didn’t damage the sheet rock. I would recommend it over more expensive steamers and over renting one,

Excellent budget steamer

The last wallpaper steamer I had was a number of years ago and had the reservoir as part of the handle making it heavy and awkward. Therefore, I was reluctant to head that route again. Purchased to remove wallpaper and worked great until it stopped steaming. Luckily I was able to get a replacement with no hassle or cost.

Great Steamer

I have previously rented a similar machine from Home Depot that was big and bulky but did the job of removing wallpaper well, this is very compact and seemed to work way better, I would highly recommend this steamer to anyone looking for a great compact steamer to have around the house

I did half a room using a solution of vinegar and water. Then I got the idea to buy a steamer. Reasonably priced, so I bought this one. I will never attempt to remove wallpaper again without it. Although if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have applied border to begin with, but this steamer made the job much easier. It really would have been much better with two people working on it.

Not used as intended!

This is intended to steam wallpaper for removal. I'm using it to remove 50+ year old cement/glue and residual floor covering. Slow going but works like a champ.

It's a bust

We used it once. Next time out of the box (couple months later) nada. No steam. Won't heat up. Based on other reviews, this should have never gone to market and should be recalled. Shameful.

Excellent investment

Just purchased a new/old home with lots of wallpaper that needs to come down. Purchasing this item gave us the flexibility to do the job a little bit at a time. The unit itself works great! Paper is coming off easily and quickly.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!

The steamer works great! Makes a messy tedious job go very fast. Other reviewers mention plug being loose, you just need to make sure the plug is pushed in all the way, and securely. I love it and highly recommend.

The Right Tool for the Job

I regret not having purchased this steamer when I started removing wallpaper from the bathroom. It is still not a fun job but this machine has probably enabled me to reduce labor time by at least 80%. Only criticism is the attachment of the power cord to the unit that at times loses conductivity.

This steamier did a great job at helping remove wallpaper..this product made stripping wallpaper a breeze.

The steamer did a great job removing the wallpaper from my master bathroom. The wallpaper had been applied over a painted drywall which make it difficult to remove, but the Wagner Power Steamer did the job.

Bought house with eight wallpaper rooms. Stripped first three manually with pan and sponge and scorer and metal scraper. Lots of mess and marred walls. With this power steamer and plastic 5" scraper, the colored paper and especially paste paper came off the walls without marring. Just a light sponge bath left the walls clean and ready to paint.
