Wallpaper remover

This worked when nothing else we tried did! Removed 45 year old wallpaper glued on drywall with 2 more layers on top! Made a big project so much easier. Highly recommend!

Work Made Easy!

I have been removing wallpaper since the 90's. Spraying softener before scraping usually worked. However, this 20 yrs. Old paper would not come off! So, I decided to try this steamer. What did I have to lose? SURPRISE...it worked great! Sooo easy coming off! So mad I didnt use a steamer before! Love it!

WOW this really worked

Upon opening the package, I thought "uh oh. This is plastic and seems cheap." However, I was incredibly surprised and amazed at how well it worked. I've got a few other properties I need to use it on, but so far, I'm impressed, as the first job I used it for was quite a big one.

Great for lifting linoleum!!

I purchased this item as I was having a very difficult time lifting the old linoleum floor in a pantry. The floor is concrete with no sub-floor. I tried an industrial heat gun and it took me 2 hours to work a 3 x 3 inch square and it wasn't a "clean" removal. Long story short, came upon a YouTube video of a gentleman out of Florida. SOOOO COOOL!!! The floor gets scored and the steamer gets set on top for a minute or two. I literally finger-tipped up the first layer of vinyl. I got a few section...

Well work the money. I looked at renting a steamer and quickly realized I could purchase this Wagner Power Steamer for less. Well worth it, did the job just fine. It is plastic so if you show some care this will last a long, long time.

Glad I purchased this!

We are updating our LR and DR. Wallpaper has been up for 27 years and needed to come down. The steamer works great. Paper backing came down in no time at all. Highly recommended if you plan on removing the paper backing from vinyl wallpaper. The power steamer was also priced just right. Well worth it! Also ordered online and when we got to the store, all I had to do was go in and pick it up from the locker. Easy Peasy!

You will definitely find it easy to use and that it is very effective in removing paper. It does take a bit longer to remove thicker or vinyl papers, but it is definitely worth purchasing vs. renting one. I have 6 rooms to tackle before I can begin painting. I am most pleased with how easy and quickly this huge task is moving along. And, I am saving a bundle by doing this job myself rather than hiring out for it. I recommended this tool. I removed wallpaper in my entire house with this tool, I became very comfortable using it however Just the other day, I was removing wallpaper and I got severely burned due to the hose loosening from the main housing where the water is stored. Just use caution when using the tool, the hose connection can become loose over time due to various movements. Great tool but always check connection throughout usage

Worked amazing! Time Saver!

Buy multiple scorers, the blue ones Lowes sells break after a while. Score the wall, then run the steamer over the walls. Wallpaper comes off easily, I bought a garden sprayer also to wet the paper/glue left behind. After spraying the walls the rest came off simple.

Effective and Efficient

The Wagner Power Steamer 715 Multi-purpose Wallpaper Steamer has made a historically messy and difficult job so much more simple and easy. I have found the steamer easy to use and very effective at loosening wallpaper for straightforward removal. No more pails of water or dripping sponges!

Good and Bad

This steamer is really good at making a mess. Basically be prepared with a bucket and drop cloths because the steam will start dripping on the floors and walls. Aside from that it does get the job done. Just be prepared. It does take 15 min to heat up and will continue running whether you’re ready or not.

It's easy to use, water in tank last a long time, and wallpaper came right off!
