Attractive, Quiet, Heavy Duty Range Hood

I love this Hood Range. The problem now is after removing my old hood fan and seeing the shuddy work done by my original contractors, I realize that this heavy duty Range Hood would require a bit more of a major remodel in order to install this item. :( Can't wait...maybe next year.

Good Hood

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. There are three fan settings, and excellent light from two LED bulbs. It has two fans that are very strong. There is an optional gesture function that works for the fan; it doesn't control the light. I find it to be pretty reliable, but not completely. You definitely need two people or a jack to install it. Really research what you want for replacement /new oven hood and you will find over and over Vikio is your right choice. Elegant, clean and modern. Great install/instructions we’ve purchased two, one for us and one for my mom’s house. Great buy, great product.

Gorgeous

Gorgeous, classy design. It comes across as high-end and fits the bill nicely. It is very well packed as well, with multiple layers of protection and padding. Install is rough if you’ve never done it, but manageable.

Modern upgrade.

I needed a range hood that had more suction than my over the range microwave fan. This unit has three fan speeds and it’s a lot quieter than the microwave fan. I like sleek modern design with the rounded edges. The wave sensor is a great idea and nice to have especially in the middle of cooking. The lights illuminate the stove area and counter flawlessly. Really nice unit

This thing is awesome. I didn’t think I wanted to go away from my old simple oven fan with a mechanical switch to a fancy touchpad. But this, with the motion sensing, is grand. Even my toddler was running it and had it figured out while I was running it through tests before install. The 3 fan modes are a nice option, and the lights are nice and bright. Great low profile vent for 4 burner range

Was looking for a nice and sleek hood for a smaller range and this one certainly fits the bill. The low profile aesthetics truly give a modern and sophisticated appearance. The ventilation is powerful and and at high speed it really pulls a lot of air. The flush installed lights are a plus, and while a 3rd light would have been nice they are still very bright. Vikio Fan: So far it works great

So far this Vikio fan works great had it one month! It is attractive and very clean looking! The hand wave activation requires some getting used to but it works!

Do yourself a favor and do not buy any appliance from Lowes. They have 48 hour return policy. I bought wrong size, didnt even remove from box, and now I am out $350. Avoid.

Improved venting for cooking

This vent only unit replaced my over the range microwave/vent combo whose venting I found to be inadequate for my uses (only 400 CFM vs 980 CFM for its replacement). So far its seems to match my expectations with improved venting, especially when frying foods. Only slight issue occured during installation where access to top rear mounting holes was not possible, so used lower back mounting holes to secure rear of unit.
