Nice range hood, one distractor

The range hood is well made, not as flimsy as a few comments suggested. However, the light is a built-in LED and is not very bright. Further, my wife does not like the lighting color (color temp). Too bad they did not design for a standard socketed LED where both the brightness and color temp could be changed out by the user.

Horrible instructions

Hood is nice, but light is very dim. Instructions were vague and difficult to follow. The QR scan for air outlet tutorial video did not download, although several family members tried. Still have no idea how to change the LED light.

Basic range hood, disappointed

If you are looking for a basic range hood, then this may suit your needs. However, we were disappointed with the quality. The wires are exposed; no cover included. We called the company and was told others have complained about it, but it is quite safe as it is. We bought a conjunction box and installed it to hide the wires. Second, the light is easy to use but it is not bright at all (more like a low light on a low/high range hood light.)

It is a very great investment to your Kitchen.

It’s the perfect size and was installed today by my electrician. It’s quiet compared to the one that was in our home when I bought it eleven years ago. The two fan speeds are perfect and the only issue is that the built in light is not as bright as I expected but other than that my wife loves it and it’s built very well.

Received my range hood and the fan didn't work only the light, Lowe's wouldn't do anything because it was after48 hrs.So i contacted VIKIO . Vivi their rep walked me through troubleshooting the unit. After all checked out, fan still not working, Vivi verified my mailing and shipped me a new unit,which by the way is great well made, looks and works great,not the easiest to install but doable. I'm sure Lowe's has installation people available

Lite weight; easy to install

It was lite weight, yet had a more powerful draw up the vent pipe. The 1970 Montgomery Ward model weighed around 25 lbs. The VIKIO model felt like 5 lbs; not to mention, the LED light cast a nice ambiance across the stove top. The old unit was 50 yrs old, and the fan still ran. This is to say I can not remark on the longevity of this new unit. I can only say it works well out of the box and the stainless steel adds a nice touch to this old kitchen.

Way over priced!

I took a chance on this item because most of the reviews were poor, unfortunately they were right. Customer service was no help. I paid too much for something not even worth buying. Next time I'll trust reviews.

It does its job!

Installed this VIKIO range hood in under 40 minutes with my husband—fit perfectly under our cabinets. The steel finish looks high-end, and the fan does a great job pulling out smoke and grease, even during heavy cooking. The LED lights are bright and cover the whole stove area. It’s quiet on low and still not too loud on high. Definitely worth the price!

We were pleasantly surprised by this range hood! The stainless steel finish is high quality, it was easy to install, and it works really well. The fan motor is quiet yet powerful — we’re so glad we chose this one instead of a more expensive model. We checked out other range hoods at our local Lowe’s, but most were much louder.
