Has no damper!
Would Not RecommendHad No damper & if you add one then it won't fit your duct! Also, most hoods are 6" high & this one is only 4.7" so does not properly fill existing space.

It was an easy install, just a few mounting bolts and wire nuts to install. The hood came with an easy-to-use template and all supplies that are needed. This unit is very light compared to our last hood - my 11yo held it up for me to install the bolts. When using the fan at high speed, I can actually see the smoke from our food being sucked through the filter and exhausted...

Excellent price for a good quality vent hood
Would RecommendThis Vita hood was very well laid out. I like the fact that it had simple switches and no digital circuitry that can easily go out. The strong suction of the high volume fan is a definite plus for removing food, odors and smoke. and to top it off, it was a great deal at $89.
