Generator Cord Works but...
Would Not RecommendThis cord is a great length and seems well made, but it gets really stiff almost immediately when in cold temperatures. I stored it in the house after the first time, but it took only a few short minutes in the cold temps to get very rigid and difficult to work with when connecting my generator to the outside connection on my house. And we lost power a lot this past winter, so I tried a few ways of trying to avoid the problem and none worked. Since I have to twist it to lock it into the outlet, ...

Quality extension chord
Would RecommendThis is a heavy duty extension chord. Make sure you need a 4 prong one when you get this as it is not your standard 3 prong extension chord. It is built solid and works as it should.
Heavy Duty Lighted Extension Cord
Would RecommendThis is the heaviest extension cord I have ever picked up. It is made to work with portable generators thus the extra weight. I am impressed with the cord ends..both are heavy duty and hold their connections well. The construction between the extension cord and plug ends is very durable. Lesser quality cords often break at this junction point. Connecting it to my generator proved the cords ability to lock in and not disconnect. For my purposes, this is the best extension cored I have ever owned....

Would RecommendGreat product. This is not the first extension cord I have owned that was made by utilitech. I like their products they are quality and have lasted years for me. It works just as an extension cord should. The plug is for a generator so when purchasing make sure you get the end that you need for your application.

Would RecommendThis is a well-made 4-prong extension cord with molded connectors that worked fine for my two air compressors connected to a generator. I got this cord to power my two 240V air compressors from a gas-powered generator, for which it worked well. My air compressors are 20 and 80 gallon tanks with 240V motors wired with a 120V power-on light, so it requires the 4-conductor wiring with the neutral wire which can provide 120V as well as 240V.
