Generator Cord Works but...

This cord is a great length and seems well made, but it gets really stiff almost immediately when in cold temperatures. I stored it in the house after the first time, but it took only a few short minutes in the cold temps to get very rigid and difficult to work with when connecting my generator to the outside connection on my house. Quality extension chord

This is a heavy duty extension chord. Make sure you need a 4 prong one when you get this as it is not your standard 3 prong extension chord. It is built solid and works as it should.

Heavy Duty Lighted Extension Cord

This is the heaviest extension cord I have ever picked up. It is made to work with portable generators thus the extra weight. I am impressed with the cord ends..both are heavy duty and hold their connections well. The construction between the extension cord and plug ends is very durable. Lesser quality cords often break at this junction point. Connecting it to my generator proved the cords ability to lock in and not disconnect. For my purposes, this is the best extension cored I have ever owned....

Great product. This is not the first extension cord I have owned that was made by utilitech. I like their products they are quality and have lasted years for me. It works just as an extension cord should. The plug is for a generator so when purchasing make sure you get the end that you need for your application.

Heavy duty Generator cord

This cord is very user friendly. After being coiled up in a box, it unrolled very easily and did not want to recoil itself. The 10-4 wire will handle the 30 amp load with no drop in voltage. When installing the ends in the inlet box and the generator, both ends fit snuggly in their sockets. The molded on ends are tight to the cord which will prevent moisture from seeping in.
