Would Not RecommendMy metal lamp, which has used touch dimmers for many years, responded erratically to this dimmer. The light kept changing without being touched--on/off/bright/dim--just acted nuts. Chucked this dimmer into the trash. This was inexpensive, but worthless.

Reoccuring problem. Product works fine for first .5 to .75 hrs, then begins to cycle through low, med, high repeatedly until light is either turned off pr devoce unlugged for several minutes.

Would Not RecommendThey seem to work okay at first, but after a few months give me issues. I have went through probably 5 or 6 of these in the past 3 years. Had one bad out of the box and returned it. Currently my lamp comes on but it does not turn off, so looking for solution, but won't be buying these again.

Would RecommendThis works on metal thin/spindly lamps. It does Not work with heavier/bulkier/boxy designs. It only works touching the bulb or the wire on lamps made of other materials that are not metal.
