What Customers Are Saying
The Utilitech TT-30P 30-amp plug has mixed reviews. Some users found it affordable and easy to install, but the majority reported quality and design issues. Many reviewers noted the plug was cheaply made, with small terminal screws that made it difficult to securely connect the required 10-gauge wires. The tight internal space also made it challenging to fit all the wires. Overall, while the plug may work for basic applications, the consensus is that it is not well-suited for 30-amp RV use, and users are advised to look for a higher-quality alternative.

Plug
Would Not RecommendIt could be bigger for easier grip while unplugging

It's as cheap as it looks and feels, avoid it.
Would Not RecommendYou have to use ring terminals on this, but it's still a really crappy plug with no room and tons of potential for it to short. Spend an extra $3 and buy a better plug.
39 amp ok for rv’s
Would RecommendEasy to attach, just a few minutes really. Would be better if it came with a grip or pull for removing from outlets, but it is doing the job.

Good for the money
Would RecommendIt works and did the job. The only complaint would be that it is made of pretty thin plastic.

Follow-Up w/ Picture
Would RecommendI used 10-12GA yellow ring terminals to install this plug instead of trying to place the wire directly underneath the screws. I have used this plug with and without the ring terminals and the ring terminal is the way to go for long term reliability (Current wise). The key factor in using the ring terminals is cutting the wires to the correct length or you will not have enough room to put the cover on. Wire Lengths Prep - Strip main black sheath off of the wires 3 inches, exposing the green, w...

Definitely not for an RV
Would Not RecommendThis is a 30 amp plug that is commonly used on RV's it has no weather resistance and the wire to terminal attachment inside the plug is literally a screw. It has no way to hold or clamp the stranded wire. The instructions say not to "tin" the wire so you wind up trying to keep the wire from squeezing out from under the screw head. Finally gave up and went to the trailer store for a proper plug. I've been happy with all the other Utilitech products from Lowes but this one is terrible; Do not pu...
