What Customers Are Saying
The composite decking product has a mixed reception. Many find it attractive, durable, and easy to install, offering good value. However, some customers report issues with warping, cracking, heat retention, and installation challenges. The material also shows dirt easily and can be difficult to clean. A few note problems with static electricity and lack of end caps. While generally positive, the negative experiences suggest inconsistent quality.

Worth every penny!
Would RecommendGreat Color, Look and Feel .....why spend $50+ per board on some Composites that are special order when you can buy these right off of Lowes shelves....200% better than that Choicedeck brand!

Cut Joints are starting to swell after 2 seasons.
Would Not RecommendThis has been a great product up until the snow melt this spring. The cut joins, (boards that were cut to proper length or corrections made to square the board prior to installation) have started to swell all within 1" of the cut. No reference to any type of sealing requirement in the installation documentation. This effect appears to be consistant across the entire deck, Not certain how another winter will impact this product and at 1500 sft of decking I am very concerned.

DIRTY FLOOR
Would Not RecommendIt was easy to install and looked beautiful until anyone walked on it - shows dirt and is impossible to keep clean. I wish I had selected a lighter shade..…… it was on sale - now I know why...………..
Would buy it again!
Easy to install and looks amazing! The fasteners were easy to use and made for a seamless appearance between deck boards!

Looks nice but chips easily
We purchased these decking boards because we liked the color and they were affordable. However, they have chipped and scuffed easily so I question the quality. I special ordered fascia boards for my deck and 1 arrived chipped. I am still in the process of having my whole deck project completed so we will see how it holds up over time.
High end looks
Would Recommendi was pleasantly surprised to find a composit board I considered the most realistic looking at the cheapest price. And with the same 25 year warranty as top brands.

SO Far SO Good
Would RecommendI installed on a very small patio (20' x 16') It looks great and was pretty affordable/competitively priced. The only negatives I have so far is that it is so dark it gets really hot in the sun...maybe should have gotten a lighter color and it melts when burned (by a cigarette).

Installation going well
Would RecommendHalfway through installation on a deck resurfacing. Using a combination of 12 and 16 ft boards. They cut and fit well together, the surface material has held up to scraping, dragging, banging. Since this is on an existing deck, things aren't always perfectly square. These have just enough flex to fit. My old deck had 24" joists, you will want to add joists to make 12"- 16" spans, otherwise it will flex when you step on it. Will update after winter when they will be covered in maple leaves. As ot...

Easy to install
Would RecommendThese deck boards appear to be pretty good quality. The ends are not quite perfectly square, but you should install them with some overhang and cut them all to length after installation. Don't forget to pick up some end cap paint to seal the ends when you're done! I installed with Deck+ screws, not the hidden fasteners.

Buyer Beware
Would Not RecommendPurchased these composite decking boards to replace my old deck boards and upgrade our decking area. Installing the boards was fairly easy until I noticed that every board was improperly cut at both ends. I contacted UPFI to only be told that this error was within their quality specs. I had to remove all the boards and re-cut them and then cut both ends before installing the rest. So the amount of time, labor and cost I would’ve been better off buying trex.
