Would RecommendThis decking looks fantastic and is a great price. I highly recommend it. However, the boards I used are wider below the slot than above it. Profile pictures are attached of a piece I cut off. You can see the bottom out a little farther than the top. This means the visible gap on top will be wider than the hidden clip width. I used slightly narrower hidden clips and it all looks great.

For that deck, I used Grip-Rite #9 composite deck screws, two at each joist point, predrilled to prevent mushrooming. This year, we used these boards again when we rebuilt our larger main deck. I tried the Trex hidden clips, but the gap looked too big. So I used Fiberon ArmorGuard EDGE Hidden Deck Clips, which are 3/16 wide. 16' foot boards are short 2.25 inches(?). Does 16' = 16'? Not good... our project was based on 37.5 inch drops for stairs. Unfortunately, our drops will not fit and wasted money and time. Bad scenario when you purchase 98 16' boards. Extremely frustrated.

Would RecommendHave a big deck. Got 107 16ft boards. They cut well, don't slip when wet, and look great. Very good value. Would recommend for anyone building or replacing a deck to choose these composite boards over going with wood. Lowes was wonderful. Excellent experience.
