Would Not Recommenddid a set of stairs going to my concrete patio from the house. So far both kids have burned them selves on it. The dog also yelped when he was waiting to come in. The surface of this stuff reached 186 in the sunlight, enough for 3rd degree burns. I cant return because I have already cut the pieces what a waste of $300, glad I didnt build a whole deck with this.
Laminated And cheap
Would Not RecommendUsed Trex and other composite in past and they are solid and don’t scratch or chip. These are laminated and will scratch and chip if moving furniture or drop hammer. Not as solid or good as trex or other brands. U can see the difference in our photos of what we have used. This is laminated coating. Others are solid composite all the way through. Would RecommendInstalled the hidden vertical clip grooved boards. Easy installation although time consuming. Following installation recommendations produced a beautiful deck around the pool. Used the 8 foot smooth edge boards for the stairs and edge trim.
