Would RecommendThe grooved Trex is about one pound lighter per foot than solid Trex. So over a large deck, that's a lot less weight. Also, the grooves help the floor joists dry-out after rain so less chance of rot.

Would Not RecommendVery bowed in the ends. Rigid enough to be difficult to screw down ends flat. I had to make do with middle sections, buy extra and toss the ends.
