These composite plug screws are great compliment to the rest of the hideaway trex system. The screw (beside the strength quality) it is designed to match the width of the hideaway cap which makes for a seamless look of your deck/outdoor project. I love it

Doing the most

The decking screws are generally durable, corrosion-resistant construction and seamless color match. Easy to use and secure, but despite the cost they won't stop the screws from splitting the decking material. Satisfied with the product's performance but not the value.

Good screws. Drive slow

The deck screws are good. 2 inches to they go down deep into the wood. Make sure to make pilot holes and drive them slowly. Too quick and it will burn your composite decking like it burned mine but that's on me.

Buy in store if possible

Love using high quality products like this. The screws are strong and well made. They come with the driver bit that sets them to the perfect depth. I've used these on other materials as well and they work great there too.

These are part of a Trex decking hardware set. All pieces are very well made, with high quality parts. The color is also made to match the exact Trex board color for a flawless look.

Good product, saving

We thought we were going to be able to use these to construct our composite Adirondack chairs, but it turns out all the hardware was included. They definitely are quality screws and would withstand the elements along with the composite decking. And the depth would be right for the Trex that we have looked at. Would recommend them and we plan to hang on to them for future use.

Screw it down

Trex hideaway screw set are awesome. It comes with star bit head and 75 #10 2&1/2 inch screws. The end of the screws are slotted and cut to allows for quick bite.

Great composite decking screws

Great fasteners for composite decks, works really well with the Trex system for hidden fasteners with plugs that match the deck. Comes with a high quality driver bit.

Countersink screws

Composite plug screws. #10 ×2-1/2 inches long. Not much to say about them. They have a number 20 torx head and smaller than normal. Should be used with the countersink tool and plugs.

Extremely durable and useful deck screws.

These deck screw are very durable and strong made of a high quality steel and penetrate the wood with ease. You can remove them and put them back without damaging them which is very handy for adjustments if needed.

Good Deck Screws

Quality screws that include the bit which is nice. Easy to install and drill into the wood with a flush fit. I’m a home DIYer so can’t speak on what the pros might recommend but these did the job and are holding up. Feel of high quality and were durable.

what can i say other than they are nice composite plug screws . when used with the clam shell they are not even visible and the trex hideaway tools make them easy to use on your product

Great screws for a new deck

These were some good screws that did work great. Very easy to use on your new composite deck I think the might work on reg wood as well but don’t know. It is a lot easier to use if you predrill holes.
