Interesting deck screws that seem to work

I got these deck screws to do some deck maintenance at my house. They seem to be seem to be pretty good. I wasn't sure since they are fairly thin, but the heads didn't snap off when I was driving them, so I think they're decently made. I really like the driver bit that was included with them, it's nice and long. Again, I was surprised at how thin the driver bit is, but I didn't have any problem with it. Very strong composite deck screw

The #10 2 1/2" Composite Deck "Hideaway" screw is an epoxy coated carbon steel screw made especially for composite decking such as TREX, but may be used on any brand of composite decking. Great Decking Screws w/drivers

Outstanding composite deck screws

If you are installing composite decking, I recommend using these composite deck screws. The screws are color matched to Trex decking but will match similar oolored decking well. I had success pre-drilling with 1/8" bit. No issues with the decking mushrooming. The head of the screw should be driven flush to the surrounding deck. Great screws with new technologies built in

Really like these screws, once they are in, they stay flush and do not make a big dent since the heads are smaller than most deck screws I use. I noticed the top end is opposite of lower end, making it stay and not move once it is screwed in. Good idea. The self-penetrating tip makes it easier to start screwing without big damage to area.

Good Deck Screws

My Deck was constructed in October 2016. The composite deck board used for the skirt on steps was separating from stringer. When I removed the deck board, I found that the contractor used short deck screws, and the screws had pulled out of the stringer. For repairs, I used Trex #10 x 2-1/2-in Composite Deck Screws. Great for my decking and fence. They are easy to use with the pointed screw that bites into the wood. Not a slip in either one by fours or larger. Easy to bury the head and will not back out.

I have played around with a lot of different options for composite decking and they all have their own problems! These screws are the best, in that they have dual threads for extra holding power. Drive nicely and keep the material down and secure. Love them and they work well on straight wood too.

Hold you tightly

This is a great product, the threads have a good depth so they bite hard for a good hold. The color blends in well with boards for a solid looking finish. It comes with a bit so you are ready to go with your drill right out of the box. I liked how smooth they went in, and pulled my project tight.

Great and hardworking screws for Hardy plank, etc. NOT for lumber. All pieces in a convenient plastic travel case with an easy off lid for jobsite accessibility needs.

Smart Design & Sturdy

Very sturdy screws. Do not like that you have to have a special tool to use them, however, it is more effective and less time consuming and is more stable than regular Phillips head. Convenient that the tool is included.

Screws all the way around

This product was very easy to use. The packaging was very easy to open. The screws was very easy to grab with my hand. I had no trouble with using the screws. They was easy to work with. This is a great product. This is my first time using this brand. I definitely will look for all the products put out but this brand. I also will recommend this product to others.

Perfect for Composite

These screws were perfectly for composite decking. The Trex hideaway hidden fastener system composite plug screws are awesome, they bite down on the wood and provide a good solid hold on your boards. The whole system with the counterbore bet and the plugs is definitely the way to go. It provides a hidden fastening system that's not complicated. The Trex Composite Plug Screws are part of a hidden fastener system. They require the Enhance Decking Tool Kit for installation.
