Trex hideaway fastening system screw are awesome. They have a small profile but bite like larger screws do. The boxes are little small but have the correct bit inside the box, so no need to look for the right one.

Deck screw which will stay and not loosen

I am replacing the nails in my deck. These keep popping out over time. Hammering them back in v is a temporary fix. I needed something which would not come out. These Trex hideaway deck screws are a perfect solution to solve this problem. These are self driving, so no need to pre drill holes. Use a ratcheting driver and the job gets done very fast. Does what they say

The screws have a good bite and finish out without too much visibility. I used the hidden fastener system for the majority of the deck, but the leading edge of the stairs don't have that option, so these filled in.

Quality screes

These are quality screws. They withstood the insertion into 6 X 6 timbers and pallets that we used to construct a sofa for our patio. They also seem to be quite weather resistant as they were left out in the Minnesota elements and didn't rust or corrode. Would buy again, and tecommend.

These things are engineered for grip — they bite into the boards cleanly and hold tight without splitting or mushrooming the material. The star drive head is a lifesaver too — zero cam-out, even on long runs with a power drill.

Excellent quality deck screws

The screws have an allen key style star head so they are less prone to stripping than phillips head screws in my opinion. These screws are solid and do not strip (so far) or bend / snap. The narrow screw and the design allows it to go into wood like butter and its easy to recess the head. Overall a perfect deck screw.

Great outdoor deck screws!

A phenomenal bit for securing deck. I built a deck and used these bad boys and have had no issues with the deck based on the strength of the screws made by this company. They are the right size, right length and perfect for the outdoors

Trex Composite Deck Screws

These screws are well made and cut nicely through composite decking. The fact that they are epoxy coated means they won’t rust and leave stains on the deck. The screws match the decking material perfectly. I am using them to repair some issues with an older composite deck that was not initially installed properly. They are worth paying a little extra for as they seem made to last.

Trex Hideaway composite deck screws are made of epoxy coated carbon steel. Comes with two bits. Drive easily and hold. I haven’t had to use the second bit at all. First one looks great.

Trex Hideaway composite deck screw 10x2.5”

We are having a deck put in but it just got put off until the fall. This Trex hideaway composite screw is #10x2.5”. It is an epoxy-coated carbon steel this helps keep from rusting in wet and humid areas. This should be good for our deck since we do get a lot of rain and it’s so humid. It’s nice that you can match the screws to the wood color as well. This screw comes with a driver that’s made just for this screw. I can’t wait for my new deck to be built.

These are great deck screws, they are composite deck screws and come in a pack of 350 screws. Very high quality screws and come with drill bits for the screws.

Absolutely love these screws

Love these screws! I ordered them to build a new porch and it went flawlessly. I didn’t have any boards split and they fastened really well. Definitely a great pick.

Great screws!!

These screws work perfectly for our timber tech decking! We were able to add extra around our perimeter as we had run out previously! The set comes with two drill bits and they're perfect! I like to use the soft cushioned one that we used on our fascia to prevent over-drilling!

Much Better Than Bugle Head Screws

These screws are really nice. They have a self-drilling tip so drilling a pilot hole is unnecessary, threads on the shank that pull the screw in, coarse reverse threads at the top that pull the deck board down, and a star type drive that holds the bit securely. They come with 2 drive bit inserts. All you need are some little bungs to push into the hole to make it disappear.

Exactly what you need...

To install a composite deck. These are great screws. Good quality, and I love the fact they come with two (yes! 2!!!) bits to use during the install process. Good for a friend to help out, or if you're like me and drop one which somehow goes into an abyss never to be seen again, you have a spare. Smooth and easy to screw in. They make the job almost a pleasure. Quality that will outlast your composite deck.

Nice Color Match Deck Screws

These screws are excellent for your composite deck project. The color match blends in well making for discreet screw holes. These are excellent for areas of your deck project that hidden fasteners may not be the right option. Would recommend!

Ease and accuracy

Set my first board today using the decking plug system. I practiced on a piece of scrap and tried different approaches first, varying drive speed, no pilot hole vs pilot hole, etc. Once I figured out what worked easiest for me, it was a snap to install the first board and insert/flush set the plugs. Get your deck project screwed, effectively

Nice product. These screws are durable and stand up well if you get aggressive with the included hex bit(s). They bit well and screwed in easily and held tight over the short duration I've had them in use.

Interesting deck screws that seem to work

I got these deck screws to do some deck maintenance at my house. They seem to be seem to be pretty good. I wasn't sure since they are fairly thin, but the heads didn't snap off when I was driving them, so I think they're decently made. I really like the driver bit that was included with them, it's nice and long. Again, I was surprised at how thin the driver bit is, but I didn't have any problem with it. I will say, the box that these came in was a bit hard to open. That could be an issue si...
