I have been trying to build a simple deck on the back of my home for months. The Arnold store sent me to buy some of my items at their Festus store but when I arrived they said they did not have it. The next day I received word that they did so I made another 60 mile round trip to pick up some of my order while I have been waiting for months to receive the other items. I was told by the dept mgr that this was a popular item of their stock but they just can't seem to get my parts in.

Would Not RecommendThe materials in the box scratch each other. The black aluminum scratches the white PVC pieces while in the box. Even a small amount of care on the manufacturers part would mitigate this

Would Recommendwe wanted something that is low maintenance. Trex is it. I have five of these to install, and did the first one today. READ the instructions. Precut your 1" and 3-3/4" spacers ahead of assembly. Use a Robertson bit to drive the screws (square tip). Measure the distances between posts precisely. mark your top and bottom rails, then cut them a bit shy of your mark and sneak up on the fit. You can always cut more off, but you can't add it back on.
