Poor quality - Dangerous
Would Not RecommendI love our Trex decking, but the handrails are complete garbage. The main support rails attach with small screws and brackets through hollow composite giving minimal material for the screws to attach. I am confident if an adult fell into the rail it would detach. I will be replacing my Trex railing a year after it was installed with traditional railing for better stability and longevity.

Would RecommendThis stuff is a bit pricey and I bought literally thousands of dollars worth recently. Quality control is poor. Check your boxes carefully for damage. I had to return several items in the overall build plan due to damage both from shipment and substandard factory over site. Poor paint coverage, scars , marks, and blemishes. Good; very soft hardware
Would RecommendWe really like this product line of railing. I have two problems with this product: 1) the outer coating is very sensitive to nicks by something sharp. 2) The provided hardware is very soft and I have stripped at least one screw per railing set.

As someone who doesn't write reviews, I have to say - I would never buy this again. Install is a nightmare; every kit comes different and they're not consistent. The holes for the balusters in the bottom rail are sometimes oval in some kits and in others they're round? Everything is beyond flimsy. The kit is entirely too expensive and Trex used the cheapest possible material. Literally not worth it.
