Ratings & Reviews for Trex 6-in x 6-in Classic White Composite Deck post base trim

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this deck post trim for its professional, polished appearance and seamless integration with composite systems. Most highlight how it hides the post-to-decking junction, creating an upscale look that makes decks feel complete. The snap-together two-piece design earns strong approval for easy installation, even after railings are in place. However, some report sizing confusion, noting the product doesn't fit standard 4x4 posts as advertised. A few mention visible seams where pieces connect or describe the material as feeling less premium than expected. Despite these concerns, most customers find it a worthwhile finishing touch.

These are in 2 pieces and plastic
Would Not RecommendI haven't assembled yet BUT... these don't look or feel like composite. They are lightweight plastic and they are in 2 pieces. I've tried to snap them together...that's not going so well.
