Ratings & Reviews for Touchstone 36-in W The Sideline Black Wall mount Fan-forced Electric Fireplace with Remote Control Included

Awesome fireplace

I am replacing a gas fireplace in our bedroom and look at several others. I even did a side by side comparison with another unit and the Touchstone product is far superior then the others and truly will install flush with the wall.

Nice

Although I still have not finished the cabinet in which I am going to install the fire place in, I did plug it in to test the unit. The unit is very quiet and the case does not get hot where the heater is. I really like the fact that the glass works as the trim piece. Not everyone is a master carpenter. The only negative thing I could say about the unit would be that the fake wood could use some work. Ours has a couple of air bubbles from the casting which my wife will touch up. Other than that ...

Excellent

We have a woodburner in our living room but it’s not the most comfortable place to sleep, so when we decided to remodel our room (still under construction) and the wife wanted the ambiance of a fire, it was a no brainer. After reading the reviews we purchased the 36” sideline and couldn’t be happier. She has had it on every night so far and we put the heat function to the test in Michigan and we were impresssd. I didn’t understand the reviews stating it puts out little heat, it heats our 200sq f...

Sideline 80014 36” Recessed Insert

Love the look and feel. It installed easily in my existing fireplace opening, just needed to cut some old sheet metal away. I give it a 4 rating only because it makes a noise from the screen rotor that in a quiet room is a little annoying. With the heater blower running it mostly blocks that noise.

Beautiful and easy to installs!

Love this fireplace. The size is perfect. It looks awesome and was very easy to install!

Luxury on the Road

I purchased this fireplace as part of a remodel to my 20 year old 5th wheel camper. We removed the entertainment center with its early 21st century technology, and the built in desk. The Touchstone Sidline provides ambiance and supplements the furnace fabulously! I am what they call a full-timer. I will have photos as soon as the remodel is complete, if you are interested.

Beautiful fireplace

I bought this 36’ fireplace to take the place of a gas fireplace. It was so easy to install and looks beautiful. I will use it all year around because it’s so relaxing.

Sideline 36 Entertainment Center Feature

received the sideline 36 in great shape and the fireplace looks like a good quality piece. I used the sideline as the center piece for an entertainment center. Really like how it looks and look forward to starting to use it. Love the fact I can use it year round.

Sideline 36

I had a gas fireplace that had a poor quality firebox that prevented me from any effecient use of the fireplace. It let a significant amount of cold air into the house so I basically had to cover the opening and not use the fireplace. After researching electric fireplaces I came across the Touchstone products. I built a frame inside the existing fireplace and installed the Sideline 36. We now have a fireplace that we can turn on at anytime (we prefer the logs) with or without heat. Love the look...
