Easy To Use, Does the Job

For over a year I've bought about 8 of these traps because they were easy for me to handle and I could remove and deispose of dead rats (no smell). Problem is they break easily. The little plastic latch that holds the trap open till a rat sets it off keeps breaking and renders the trap useless... reason I've had to buy a new one after a few uses. Love the product - disappointed with the material of it. Hard to rate, so choosing middle.

Works Like A Charm

After using both this & the Secure Kill design- this is what works. Love the removeable bait cup. The tabs that secure it in trap can break, but it takes quite a lot for that to happen. Even with a broken tab, they STILL work flawlessly. I have an avocado tree & rats love eating the fruit. I've never had a rat escape from this trap. I have caught a rat so large it ran off with it's head caught in trap. Found it months later with skull inside jaws. Spring was a little rusty, & was a little gross ...

Worked like a charm!

Pest control company wasn't having any luck with their tamperproof boxes and bar traps, or the live animal traps they brought. Our furniture was being shredded from within, and it destroyed my wife's Valentine's flowers. I bought two of these Tomcat Rat Traps and the Attractant Gel - woke up to large dead rat this morning. See photo, the floor tiles are 16"x16" for scale.

Company needs to sell replacement bait cups

Great traps, I don’t even clean between use if outside. Bait cups break. Replacement cups should be available for sale! Would have been a 5 star review if that was possible.

I have lived in at my former house for 7 yrs. and I loved all the products from Miracle Grow and Scotts. now I moved into an apartment, have a small patio that is fenced in with a privately fence, I will still continue with my gardening, just at a smaller version.

I have used it outside in our front area and it immediately caught a rat. I was surprised as I had used other traps with no luck. Easy Set Trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using the trap only for precautionary measures so I am not surprised that I have not caught anything yet. I like the fact that the trap can be used more than once if need be. Although so far I have not traped anthing I really like the fact that the trap can be set by either hand or foot. This trap is a lot less scary than the old fashion spring traps made of wood.

Descent product/No victims

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well the Rat Snap seems to be constructed well, the body of the unit is solid and the spring is taut. From all indications it might perform well if an actual rat or larger mouse attempts a grab of the peanut butter. However, no attempt was ever made-apparently-not even a mouse. I have caught mice before in this same location.

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up. Very effective. I do not have a rat problem..... the trap is also effective for chipmunks. Once caught, just throw out trap and rodent. I would recommend for any rodent problem that a small trap can not handle.

Easy to use

Great for mice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these several time around the outside of my house and do a great job. With having pets, these are safe and are not able to get into it. They work very well and effective, I would recommend this to anyone having rat or mice problems.

Well built

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been placed to catch a critter. But so far it hasnt been triggered. I will move it to a different location. I'm thinking maybe just the look and size of the trap is scaring the critters away. We ll see.

Easy and Safe to utilize

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live on the edge of town with corn fields and a wetland near my home. I have experienced several rodents in the past especially when the weather and harvest occurs. This trap was effective. Didn't catch any specific rats but did capture a vole which I was glad it did. A great product, well designed and easy to utilize.

Easy and safe to set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had good luck with catching ground squirrels with the traps, using Milk Duds as bait. A nice surprise, as they are very persistent, destructive, and more than prolific. They are easy to set and no worries of snapping on your fingers, like some branded wooden traps.

Built well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok I finally put out the trap. The signs of rats were dead rats in the yard my cat left for me to find! This trap is made well and just a little touchy so be careful when setting it up. I put it in the laundry area where In I found rats got in a few years ago but nonsing of any in the house YET! That is the reason for the 4 Stars and not 5 Stars as I do not know if it is working or there are no rats! I do feel it is a good resource ...

Easy to use Rat trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trap is easy to set and bait, and quite pressure sensitive, making it an efficient killing tool. I would definitely buy one of these over other traps. You can use them over and over again. They are easy to clean. One tip: Tie a thick piece of fishing line to them (they have two holes you can use) and tie them down to something.
