Would RecommendI bought more than I needed. some were very rough, but I found out when I sanded them with coarse sandpaper, it was easy to sand and was smooth. sanding them revealed the nice grain of the wood and brought out the sunbleached finish of the panels.

barn material, depends on what you want
Would Not RecommendIn my opinion these materials are cheap looking in your house. they belong in the barn. some of my planks are very rough, cannot apply it to the wall. if you can find another material to work with, do that. Some planks are dirty, with gray smudges, I thinking of ripping them off the wall. I'm halfway through going around and picking on these material.

Would Not RecommendWe bought over $600 of this weathered grey Pine shiplap wall plank product. It was not what we expected. We thought the boxes contained 4 foot boards only but they contained some long and some short. Most of the boards were not cut long enough to reach the 16 inch stud spacing. Some of the boards were "weathered" and some were slick, with no weathered appearance. The pine knots would pop out of some of the boards when they were put on the wall. The grey finish was poor on some of the board...

Would RecommendThis material is very cheap & quality control is poor. We purchased 17 cases to diy our ceiling. We were very selective of what boxes we purchased so we didn't have too many issues with bad boards tho...some warped, some rough, some poor staining but that was under 10%. It's easy to work with IF you let it acclimate 3+days, I stacked them on top of each other to help with any warping for probably a week.
