Would Not RecommendI wish I would have read the reviews before requesting our contractor put this on a wall in our family room. Several of the boards are cupped and when you push them down they crack. No amount of glue or nails will keep them down. There is also random discoloring that does not look natural. We are going to end up taking it down and throwing it away. So disappointed. The product photos on the Lowe’s website are beautiful. Very misleading.

terrible quality...most of the boards were bowed. I am going to return all the bad ones.

Budget Friendly, Poor Quality
I used these on a recent project and went with them because of the lower price tag. Learned you give up a lot in quality. Boards are very thin and flimsy. There is a lot of color variation between boxes which is fine to a small degree, but some of the differences were stark. Also had a lot of bowed and warped boards that couldn't be used which resulted in higher wastage. Proves the saying: "You get what you pay for"

Poor quality control
Looks nice but Most of the boards in the box came warped and un-usable. Had to buy extra boxes in order to have enough usable product.

check each box for flat ones
the color is great, the wall looks fabulous,but the quality of the wood was not good.Some of the pieces had a curve to them and would not lay flat on wall. returned four boxes, back at the store we went through 8 new boxes to find enough flat ones to make three boxes. enough to Finnish the wall.

Many of the pieces had holes through them and several were sufficiently warped that they had to be installed reverse of the rest of the wall.

The boxes had warped wood We had to glue them and nail them. One box had discolored wood and we had to return it and got another box.

Waste factor is about 20% due to material anomalie
A lot of the pieces were cupped, not flat, and would lie flat on the wall. The packaging is exposed to elements (ie. sun) except on the ends. All the top pieces in every box were yellowed in the middle and normal on the ends. Couldn't use them. There were two boxes out of 20 that the ship lap was made completely different than the other 18 boxes, so they wouldn't work.

Warped and uneven boards
Many boards are warped or unevenly cut making it difficult to hang level. Looks good up but wished we had gone with something else as I think the boards will continue to bow/warp and will not stay in place.

Purchase individual boards so you can see crown.
It is a shoddy product. Many of the boards are bowed so much that they are not usable. If the manufacture finished both sides with paint almost every board would be usable.
