What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this cutting lubricant for exceptional performance on tough metals like stainless steel and cast iron. The thick, paste-like consistency stays precisely where applied without dripping, dramatically reducing friction and heat while delivering faster, cleaner cuts. Reviewers consistently report extended tool life, with bits staying sharper longer and suffering less wear. The water-based formula is easy to clean up, leaves no greasy residue, and produces minimal odor or smoke compared to traditional cutting oils. A few users mention preferring a smaller bottle size, but overall satisfaction is near-universal across DIY and professional applications.

Would RecommendIt works. Not as messy as oil. Same consistency as toothpaste. I can't say that I will go out of my way to buy this when I run out, but it does the job. I tried it on some spring steel 3/16 bit.
Great Lubricant for cutting metals. Easy to apply.
Would RecommendUsing a drill press I applied Snyders Cutting Tool Lubricant and it came out somewhat thick. I was impress how smoothly my press was able to cut through the metal with little smoke and had kept my press running cool
The best cutting tool lubricant I’ve ever used
Would RecommendPerfect size for the toolbox to take on the go, easy open and close lid, superior lubrication, easy squeeze bottle. This is the one that goes with me everywhere. If you need a cutting tool lubricant to handle all your needs, this is it.
Use mach Blue Goo for better tool operation
Would RecommendMetal on metal lubricant that will help your tools last up to five times longer by cutting down on heat while clinging to the surface of tool and metal being worked on. Great for use doing drilling, tapping, sawing, milling, threading, engraving, punch press work and more metal works operations. Product is water soluble and can be thinned to apply using a brush or spray bottle. For use on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, high-carbon, nickel-chrome, heat treated steels, and monel a...
Mach Blue is true
Would RecommendI admit I was skeptical at first, but the cutting goo seems true to it's claims. It makes cutting through thick metal easier. It kept the cutting blade cooler, so I can see how it would prolong it's life considerably. I thought it would bubble and smoke me out with chemicals, but it doesn't. The only other thing I could tell you is have a disposable rag on hand to clean the tip and work surface after it cools, because it is after all... Blue goo.
Made securing rake head to the handle easier to do
Would RecommendWe received the Mach - Blue Goo Cutting Tool Lubricant in a timely manner and in excellent condition. It never had been opened and had a good paste-like consistency. It wasn't runny and did not have a bad odor. The bottle was easy to squeeze and control where we wanted the paste to be. We needed to add an anchor screw to a hard yard rake in order to secure the rake head to the handle. This involved drilling through the metal of the rake head and rake handle. We were happy that the Blue-Goo made ...
Blue GOO was a smooth cut
I was concerned with the color but it actually was great to see where the product was for a change. The product worked as well as any other cutting oil that I hav used before. Difinitely would use again.
Impressed
Would RecommendWe initially bought this product to help make a clean cut on the metal coated clothes rod we installed in our laundry room. With the help of Mach Blue Goo, we were able to cut the metal rod without chipping off the black coating (without Blue Goo we destroyed the first closet rod we bought since our blade ripped off the coating). We really liked that this lubricant was the consistency of paste so it stuck to the saw blade and didn’t get all over the place. The cleanup was easy as well since it...
Really nice for drilling metal
Mach blue goo 6 fl oz bottle. No bad odor. Easy to squirt just as much as you need. Works really nice keeping drill bits lubricated. The cost of the goo will definitely be offset by saving on burning out bits. Would recommend.
Spyder mach-blue goo
Would RecommendI used it at work on my metal lathe while cutting steele plates. I put a little on the bit and it worked great! Used for drilling and tapping steel. Drill bits and tap are still sharp as new.
We have a winner!
Worked well for my current job.Mach-Blue Goo reduced heat much better than water or oil and was much cleaner and easier to use than oil. My main focus was on drilling or cuting into numerous differnt materials ,steel, cast iron and tile . Each situation the product perform better than excepted. Using Mach-Blue Goo reduced the heat and friction 10 fold , which intern created a cleaner and more accurate cut or hole drilled .Another bennifit of Mach-Blue Goo it has increased the life span of my equi...
Highly visible, stays where you put it.
Had a midsized cutting project over the last week. Product worked better than I expected. Really liked how easy it is to see while cutting and it didn't run or burn up on me while cutting. Definitely would recommend.
Not a paste. Drip problem.
Would Not RecommendEasy clean up which is important because this product drips faster than wood glue. Product does not stain and has low odor. Even after shaking the bottle twice, the contents were very liquid - not paste as advertised.
Cutting lube
Would RecommendThey cutting lubricant, works really well when cutting metal or other high friction materials. The lubricant is thick enough that it does not run or make a mess.
Great product to use
Would RecommendMakes my projects easier than ever. Definitely worth buying to make life easier and complete each project more efficiently. I would definitely use this again.
Mach Blue Cutting solution
Would RecommendI had a requirement to drill and tap a steel support post. This product worked well. It was superior to the traditional cutting oil in for this application. Mach blue is thicker and sticky. So on the vertical surface it held its position to lubricant the drilling process. Where as traditional cutting oils are runny. Additionally I experienced no smoke from the heat.
Mach Blue Goo cuts smoothly
Would RecommendI normally use cutting oil for threading pipes, so this water based lubricant was interesting. It has no odor, and is fairly thick. The blue color makes it easy to tell if you have enough product on the cutting surface, unlike cutting oil, which is shiny, and runny. I applied this lube to both the thread cutter and the pipe. It is very slick once I started cutting, and the threads were smooth on 3/4" black pipe. The photos show the before and after. I felt the need to clean the pipe thread...
Some of the best I've used
Would RecommendThis cutting lubricant is some of the best I've every used. I can think of at least 3 other types that I've used a lot in the past. The main thing that I like about this is it actually helps accelerate the cutting process. Time will tell but it seems like it would probably improve the life of the drill bits too. The other huge advantage to this is that it is almost more of a gel than a liquid. It holds it's shape really well and doesn't want to run on you. It also has a bit of a stickiness...
A must have.
Would RecommendSaved time in kept the drill bits from overheating. Sure worked better than WD-40 or motor oil while drilling through something. It works great and I will definitely recommend it through experience.
Blue goo lube
Would RecommendBlue blue goo, this stuff is real cool! It seemed to stick to the bit pretty well when I drilled a 1/4 hole in a 1/2 inch piece of steel. The blue goo helped make a great cut felt smooth all the way through with no need to re-goo! 10 out of 10
