What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this screw extractor set for reliably removing stripped or damaged screws where other methods fail. The dual-ended design—drilling first, then extracting—proves intuitive and effective across various screw sizes. Most users highlight success with stripped heads, soft metal screws, and small damaged screws with minimal effort. The four-size variety and compact labeled case earn consistent praise for organization and versatility. Steel construction and compatibility with standard drills appeal to many. Some note that technique and patience matter, with results varying on hardened metals or in tight spaces. Overall, reviewers consider it an indispensable, time-saving tool worth the investment.

Would Not RecommendThe extractor head broke on the first turn or two. Wasn't that much force on it since I had just started turning it after drilling the pilot hole.

don't think I'm doing anything wrong.
Would Not RecommendDrilled very slowly in reverse as instructed. Drilled first then turned the bit around to extract. It would never bite to extract. It just wouldn't grab it. tried it on two different small screws and both of them failed. I really needed this to work so I'm very disappointed.
Nope
Would Not RecommendDon’t waste your money!! I can’t even get my money back
Did not work for me
Would Not RecommendIt never did lock onto the screw. I ended up drilling it out so it didn’t work

Works great!!!
Would RecommendHad a screw with the head busted off. The bits worked great. I wish the case had a label. It’s small and I can see myself miss placing and forgetting what’s in it.

It might work but not for me
Would Not RecommendIt didn't really help with the seized on set screws that I was trying to work with. I couldn't get at them very well so I couldn't really get a good catch. They basically just turn to dust as well. The metal these set screws were made of just destroyed these. I can't say that they work. Maybe if it were something a little less stuck?

It works
Would RecommendIt worked just as described in a screw in my bathroom door that was completely stripped. It took less than 5 min.

Worked better than expected!
Would RecommendI have used many different tools for strepped screws and bolts. Very few have worked this well. I worked on a stripped screw for over an hour drilling it out with the recommended drill bit size and finally gave up. I looked up the different products and figured I would give the SpeedOut extractor a try. I had already drilled out the head of the screw and used the extractor head first and had the screw out in less than 5 seconds. If I could give this product 10 Stars I would. This tool will re...
Useful for the tool box.
I bought 2 sets, the other set had the sizes I needed and worked well. Expect this to do the same.

Completely useless
Would Not RecommendThis product is a complete joke and an absolute waste of money. I tried it on a broken screw in a wooden folding chair, which should be a pretty easy job, and the "drill bit" wouldn't even scratch the metal of the screw. The instructions are hopelessly optimistic and claim it will extract a screw in "10 seconds or less". I cannot imagine an application where this product would actually work, unless your screws are made of copper or something. Save yourself some hassle and buy an actual extra...
