I already had one this size for trash. I wanted another for recycling and so ordered a matching bin. They look good side by side.

love it!
I love our new trash can! It fit perfectly in the small space we have and the lid doesn't even hit the edge of the counter top when it opens which was happening with all the others I tried. Love how we can leave the lid locked open during dinner prep and clean up and especially love that it has an insert that comes out for quick cleaning! I am more excited than I probably should be over a trash can but it makes me smile every time I walk past it!:)

Excellent construction
I'm very pleased with the 38L brushed silver step can. I don't know why I waited so long. I will definitely be purchasing more items from simple human, well actually I already have the large bath stand for 5yrs and it's like brand new. It held up well...oh let's not forget my small step can for my bathroom.

My favorite trash can
Bought this to replace my older model Simple Human after 10 years. Old one got dented( my bad) and we have an open floor plan so needed a new one. Bought the same model as before as it was ,in a word, perfect! Like the removable plastic bin - just in case a bag leaks -you can take it out and wash it.
