This was a replacement for my simplehuman trash can that I had for over 15 years which survived 3 children and lots of use. Somehow the grandkiddies managed to break it. I wasn't crushed because i figured it was time for a replacement anyway. I love the new design--it's even stronger and seems to be a little bigger. If I get another 15+ years out of this one, I'll be a happy camper. Just a great product!

38L Rectangular
After having a basic trashcan for years, I finally decided to try something a bit more rigid and appealing. I did some research and felt the Simplehuman 38L was a fit for me. It has been great so far, hope it last years to come.

Perfect fit—
This is a perfect fit for a small kitchen; although it is compact, it can fit regular size 13 gallon trash bags if you don’t want to purchase the Simple Human bags. The fingerprint free material holds up to its promise so far and considering that it is a garbage can in sight, it is not an eyesore.

Love it
We had one just like it for over 10 years. Recently the lid broke off and so we purchased the exact same one because we liked the size of it and how easy it is to use.

Best trash can ever
Seriously. I had one in my last house and now have one in the kitchen and a smaller one in the bathroom. Worth every penny.

Quality cans. One came with
Quality cans. One came with a dent and no problem, they sent another. This is our second purchase as we moved up to bigger units. Still using old one.

Well worth the money - you'll love it.
Would RecommendSmaller than the bulky one I had with the opening device that tore up the kitchen wall behind it.
