It’s ok but I really love my old one better. Only purchased a new one because the step opener broke. I wish you still made (or have available) the original model with the black lid and foot pedal. Any left by chance??

Love it
So happy with this purchase. It came with 10 of the J bags that fit perfect. Has the foot step and soft close lid. Opens and closes easily. I wish I would have bought one of these a long time ago.

Love simple human
Originally thought these trash cans and bags were too expensive but ended up getting one as it was the best option available and now understand why they command a higher price. These truly are quality. I have never had a bag break open and I have stuffed them full. Great buy, will never buy cheaper ones again

In the can
Love it so far but it has big shoes to fill. I have a half round can of the same size and it is still going after 20 years.

The Best Trash Can
This is the second one I’ve owned. They’re extremely functional, very well made and beautifully designed.

Great for Full timers in Motorhome
Matches our stainless steel residential fridge in our motorhome. Fits against the wall in the wide hallway across from the kitchen sink. Lid doesn’t hit the wall when fully open our when locked open. Twice as tall as the trash under the sink. Easy to scrape food into the trash without having to bend over. Less trips to the dumpster. Shipped undamaged.

Trash can dream
We just upgraded after 18 years with a different brand step trash can. We have used the SimpleHuman trash can less than a week and already notice a huge difference. The most helpful thing so far is that the trash can doesn’t slide even a little when we step on the pedal. Our old one did, and we were constantly adjusting it. No more! We also love the silent open and close. No more banging. I can’t wait to change the bag out when it’s full. I know it will be a breeze. And, by the way, our normal p...

I like my new trash
I like my new trash can a lot, but I am a little disappointed. I had seen and used one in a rental while on vacation and fell in love with it. It was semi-round and had the lid staying open function. I thought all your cans would be like that. We could not fit the semi-round in our space so went with a rectangular one. Nice but wished it could stay open without pushing that red tab🙁.

Love it
I bought one over 20 years ago ( not sure the exact date) , the lynch pin broke, tried to see if there was a replacement part, but was not successful since I didn’t have the model or s/n. I asked just to tell me where I could look to see if they had parts list for their older models. But they kept asking for the numbers couldn’t because I could not see on the wastebasket. So I bought a new one. Love it .
