Love it!

Very happy with it! I've actually received several compliments on it. Love the slow close lid and how you can choose to latch it to keep pets out. Kinda pricey for a trash can but worth it to have a such nice one.

simply marvelous!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this item thinking oooh for the price, it'll do....but was I wrong. Its great I live with others and grandkids. They are messy, had a previous one but it had no ease of operation such as hands free. If you know humans we like to touch things, clean or extra yucky if you're a kid............thank you for a great and reasonably price product for the budget minded.

Priced in store on shelf for 49.99 and was on clearance for 49.98. I had to do a double check on the price. Asked a sales clerk if that was correct. She looked it up and said yes. Wasn't too worried and just wanted to go ahead with the sale. Talked to a manager and he chuckled about the bargain, sold it to me for $35.00. It is worth that but not 49.99. And not eve n 49.98 either. Ha! Only problem I do see is that the regular 13 gallon trash bags aren't quite bit enough since it takes a 15 gallon...

A great trash can for people with dogs/children

I would recommend this trash can to people with dogs or small kids as the locking feature is a nice touch. Sometimes I cant even get it open if the latch is closed. The foot lever to open is always a good touch b/c you always have the stuff you are throwing away in your hands. The lid will stay up if you open it all the way and it keeps smells in too. My only issue was it was a $50 trash can but its something you buy once every decade or so, so you may as well get a nice one.

Great Trash can if you have Kids or Pets

We take care of allot of dogs and where looking for a can where the lid locks. This is great! Not overly big but still holds quite a bit. Heavy plastic so if it gets hit it won't break right away. Not cheep but worth the money.

One thing I wish was better, when you step on the step to lift the lid .... the container slides a bit and then the lid rubs on my cabinet side. Maybe rubber feet???

Great trash can, not disappointed by the price

My husband and i purchased this trash can for the locking mechanism, we have two pit-bulls that just LOVE the trash when we leave, not great presents to come home to. So far this has been a god send! Very stylish for a plastic trash can too. I don't have to worry about it smudging either since its not stainless steel. i haven't priced trash bags yet, they gave me three to start with for free, so that could be a down side, but either way I'm so happy we made this purchase! P.S. I REALLY like that...

This style can definitely keeps the Golden Retriever Pup out of the garage trash can. Works just as advertised.

This is my second step-can, love them! Our other one lasted more than three years and we only got rid of it because we moved. Not only is it very durable, it is easy to clean. I love being able to step on the peddle to throw trash away rather than have to touch the lid to open or close. I also like that you can lock the lid- especially if you have small kids come over who like to play in the trash (or even pets probably). The price may appear to be alot, but how many trash cans last over three y...

Great trashcan!

We've been wanting a new trash can for months now. We found this one in the store and liked the style of it and the fact that it had a lid. It's very nice. I really like the fact that when you open it with the pedal, it doesn't slam down but closes slowly. I also like that you can lock it up, to keep the top open, and you can lock it close, which is great as one of our kids loves to throw everything in the trash. I would definitely recommend this!

It really works (so far)

This is my third trash can this year. The others cost less but had plastic parts and I am so over that. This can has a nice profile and the lid works beautifully. If that changes I'll have more to say.......

Sharp looking trash can

I love that the lid locks. Because of this feature it has kept my 2 year old and my dog out of mischief. I've had people tell me it's a good looking trash can.

Best trash can ever

Outstanding. The patented closing system is whisper quiet. The latch on the top prevents my dog from getting into. The semi round shape lets me put it flush against the wall. It's the best.

Best Investment Ever !!!

We are on a small fixed income, so this was considered a big investment for us.
