Defected product

I purchased this unit in 2018 with an extended 5-year warranty. The warranty expired less than a year ago. There is a class action loss suit as this product is prone to "arcing." I submitted my documents ( proof of receipt), proof of extended warranty, and pictures. They told me that I was not entitled to compensation or replacement because the warranty expired. After paying $1,300.00 for a unit that lasted 6 years, Sharp won't even try and make this right!! needless to say, this will be my las...

Don't Buy

This brand new microwave only lasted 1 month before it stopped heating food.

Absolute Garbage!

Manufacture date 2/21. Today is January 16 2024. Microwave stopped working this month. Panel buttons no longer work!!! Called Sharp and emailed them with all model and serial numbers. They cannot help me with their inferior product because the warranty is 12 months. Unbelievable! Its a $500 fix for a new panel. I bought the microwave for $999! Will never buy another Sharp appliance! Will be replacing with another brand shortly! DO NOT BUY!

Out of the way

After years of having a countertop microwave, we really enjoy this hidden gem. We installed it in our island and it’s out of the way, it was super easy to install as well! It works great! Let’s see how long it lasts. For the price I hope it lasts a long time.

Don’t Buy, Too Many Issues

Had this microwave for 1.5 years and the touchscreen stopped working. Would start on its own. Sometimes when pushing the keypad buttons, the pop out keyboard would close and pinch your finger. Does not heat evenly because no turntable. Takes very long to warm up food. Automatic drawer takes too long to come out.

The store salesman and delivery person were very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks for all the assistance.

Damage product

Had to re order due to the first one came in damaged box sure thing it was damaged. For that amount of cost I think you need quality controls

I bought this microwave in 2020 December for $1299 and in 2023 August it broke . Not heating anything other than a big humming sound . Contacted Customer service , which is a Joke . Nothing will happen , they simply told me that it is out of warranty , and provided me Bayer and Scarfs number to contact them. I contacted them and find out they wont service any appliances unless it is bought from them. Sharp’s Manual says Magnetron is warranted until 5 years . They did not disclose this to you. ...

Not so perfect Delivery ETA

Microwave was packed to perfection. The only not so perfect thing was the delivery time. It took 4 WEEKS!!!!!
