defective construction of front panel

This is the second Sharp Drawer Microwave I've received. Both have the same defect, a 3/16" space on the left side that prevents the unit from mounting flush to the cabinet.

Good but has some issues

Repalaced an older model of the same unit that failed in about 7 years. New model is to be improved and fits the customized cabinet originally constructed. New unit arrived and control panel would not open. after calls with Sharp and delays arranging for a tech to come out, i investigated the issue and found a screw had been dropped and left in the unit, which prevented the panel from opening. A little concerned with Sharp QAQC. Definetly buy the extended warranty on this unit

Drawer microwave

Our old Sharp Drawer microwave died and the repair part for our model was no longer available. We decided to replace it with another Sharp microwave. Since our island was built custom for our previous one, it was very easy to install . The drawer seems so much smoother on opening than our old one, so some type of upgrade must have been made. So happy to have a working microwave again!

Lost in Space

So far the Microwave seems great. Haven’t had it very long yet. Like 4 days. Works like it should. Biggest gripe is with Lowes. They lost it in shipping, spent hours on the phone and in the store. So frustrating,

worked good for about 20 months

Have had this for about 20 months, a week ago I noticed the # 4 on the keypad wasn't working. then a couple of days ago the touch panel quit all together, but the microwave started on its own for 2 minutes, I couldn't stop it. I unplugged it for a minute, then it worked but after sitting for a couple of minutes it started itself again for 2 minutes. Doing some research this is common with this model. I called sharp, because it's out of warranty they won't do anything to help. I won't buy Shar...

Ordered 1000 watt microwave and got 950 watt!

After installing the drawer microwave my wife discovered it is NOT the 1000 watt we ordered, but rather the 950 watt model. It’s not marked on the box or outside the oven, but only inside the door. After half an hour with a totally worthless “help” desk person I was told he would contact the local store and they would contact me the next day. It’s been almost a week. Your customer service sucks!

Sharp Under the Counter MW.

Ease of use. I liked the under counter MW. I think it is safer to use than an over the counter stove microwave. I only started to use my MW so I gave it a 4 out of 5. However, I’ve had success with other Sharp Mows so hopefully this will be the same. And it has a very sleek appearance in the kitchen.

top quality , works as expected.down side is no trim kit available in black stainless. had to wood trim it looks great
