Loved it until drawer wouldn’t open

This microwave was part of a kitchen remodel and fit the space/purpose perfectly. I liked being able to carefully lift hot items out of the microwave at a lower level rather than reaching higher. Always a concern about accidentally spilling hot food on myself. Then the drawer would occasionally stick. Now it won’t open at all. Sharp Stainless steel microwave oven

This Sharp stainless steel drawer oven is beautiful in our new kitchen and a great choice for anyone looking to save counter space. The flip out control panel keeps our little grandkids from getting into it, but allows our older grandkids to use it. Easy to clean surfaces. Has many great features for versatile cooking. Microwave UNDER not on the COUNTER

This is an amazing idea to clear up counter space. I’m not sure how they did to but it cooks very evenly without hot spots. Congratulations Sharp!

Sleek and easy to use.

The drawer microwave is at the perfect height for getting food in and out. Easy to clean with a great fold out menu. And, it cooks food to satisfaction.

Love the drawer feature!

This drawer microwave is amazing! Why did it take so long to invent this? No more struggling with heavy dishes above the stove and hoping you don't spill anything. The microwave is easy to use and performs well. It's the first thing I show off on my new kitchen. 5 stars!

Sharp in-counter Microwave

We love this microwave! It is very easy to use and does an excellent job. Its appearance also blends in seamlessly in our cabinetry. It makes our kitchen much more efficient and clean.

Buyer Beware!

Microwave broke within days of warranty expiring. Sharp then charged $400 to send a repair person (prepaid) and only guarantees the work for 90 days. Also the part needed is backordered, so I have been without product use for a month and still waiting. Expensive up front AND to maintain!

We ordered the Sharp Stainless Steel Drawer Oven ahead of an anticipated kitchen remodel as a replacement to an over the stove microwave. To use and evaluate the product we built a cabinet and installed the oven temporarily. In general, we like the drawer microwave. It's an OK replacement.

We replaced a defunct 10 year old SHARP microwave drawer with the latest version. Slight correction to fit it into the same spance. Many fewer selections off the menu. Where do we go to get the new information about slight changes in procedure? Not too happy about the "improved" menu, but we will survive!

Best Microwave I Have Ever Owned!

Having a large drawer microwave is an amazing amenity in my kitchen. Powerful and so easy to clean. I've had microwaves for over 40 years and this is the very best!

Overall a good microwave

Good microwave, but wish it heated items faster. Some dishes get hotter than the food itself. Popcorn setting only cooks about 2/3 of kernels.

Exceeds expectations

When my wife said she wanted an under counter microwave oven, I was a bit skeptical. I liked the standard microwave we had above the oven because it was eye level and, for me, easy to use. Looks great and works even better

This microwave has great power and it's really got a nice slick look. I like that the control panel is covered. It helps it to stay clean and if you have little kids with curious minds having the control panel covered is a nice feature for safety as well. I've really enjoyed having this microwave and use it daily for the past 3 month with no issues. Heats up food perfectly.

Great product

Product works great and is a big part of our kitchen.

Nice unit but failure prone

We like the unit. And, when it works, it works well. The drawer operation is smooth and the tilted controls are very handy. However, we have had two units fail in less than four years. The first failure was within a month of installation and a replacement unit was covered under the warranty. The second unit has failed after a little more than three years. The touch panel failed and the unit has to be replaced, again. The life of the unit seems to be problematic.

Looks Nice - nothing more

I wouldn’t recommend this microwave. It looks nice but takes significantly longer to heat food than any other microwave I’ve ever owned (and was more expensive). I hardly ever leave reviews, but I’m disappointed every time I use the thing.

Not enough power.

Why did my contractor sell me this? Most all microwaves need 1100 watts, not 950.
