I remember the first Sharp Carousel microwave, built like tanks! While the new one employs modern technology and finishes, still reminds me of the early years. Reliable, trustworthy, safe and most of all, just plain works!

Great customer service from Sharp

I have to say that I think Sharp is an excellent company. The first microwave arrived dead on arrival. I attempted to contact Lowe's through their website. After an hour+ waiting (and still having at least 100 people ahead of me) I hung up and the following day I contacted Sharp directly. I explained the issue, they sent me a link so they could somehow go into my phone and watch me show them the issue. Annoying features for an otherwise ok microwave

It generally works ok for a microwave oven. It is powerful so if you upgrade to this from a lower wattage unit you will have to adjust cook times. So far, the most annoying feature is that for now reason it will truncate the first digit on the display so the clock is inaccurate at 10, 11 and 12 o’clock. Same is true if you’re setting the time cook for greater than 9 minutes. Called customer service but they offered little help as to why this is. We are considering returning it because of th...

Sensor Cook QUIT already!!

None of these features work any longer!! Otherwise I like this model and use it at every meal for efficient cooking. Sad half the features are now unavailable!!

Expendable Exchange

Our old microwave lost it's magnetron so we needed a new on. This unit had the same capacity, but a smaller profile overall. It's highly functional and quiet. It has several new functions and most of the previous as well. We discovered something small, but amazing. Our 9ld unit had a 'hot food' reminder beep; this one thankfully does not. We love our new microwave and would recommend it. A bonus for us was it was on sale at our local store.

Fantastic Features

Love the features! A lot of my microwave use is reheating. Love that I have auto choices for such. My new apartment has a basic stove with no clock or timer so the one on the microwave has proven very handy. Also, I plan to do more microwave cooking in the future using products designed for such by Tupperware such as a pressure cooker and stack steamer. Will let you know how well they work with the oven.
